Cabin by the Lake

Beth? Who the hell is Beth? She looks like a model, long tan legs, auburn hair, and the longest eyelashes I think I've ever seen.

"Aren't you going to invite me in?" holding her Gucci bag and tapping her Louis Viton shoe. Yeah, she's money alright. Snobby money. "I've missed you," reaching forward and grabbing his dick, "oh, I think you've missed me too."

The more she does and says, the less gorgeous she looks. I don't think she knew I was there but does she not smell the sex in here? It's radiating. She leaned in and kissed him and that's when I decided to make my presence known by clearing my throat.

"Who are you?" she snarled at me.

Walking over to her, I put my best fake smile on and held out my hand, "Theresa, nice to meet you."

"I'll leave you two alone," walking away.

"Get me a glass of water," she demanded of me.

"Umm, I don't work here."

She let out a deep sigh, "then why are you here?" Turning her attention to Mitch, "you didn't tell me you were going to be sharing the cabin."

I disappeared upstairs but could still hear them but no longer see them.

"I didn't tell you I was going to be here."

"Where else would you be spending the summer?"

Has she been here with him? Did he fuck her in this bed? My thoughts began to run wild.

"How did you even find it? I've only talked about it."

Alright, so maybe she hasn't been here.

"Are you going to invite me in or what?"

"Why are you here Beth?"

"Can't a girl visit her boyfriend?"

Boyfriend? Are you serious? Deciding I've heard enough I walk into the bathroom for another shower. My anger only got worse as I stood there. He has a girlfriend and he's just using me for sex? If I would've known that I never would've slept with him, I do have morals. What did he think would happen at the end of summer? What did I think would happen? Thoughts filled my head and I decided that I needed to be away from him. Drying off as fast I could, I threw my hair up in a messy bun and threw my things into my bags.

The only noise I heard was the television, I peaked over the railing and didn't see anyone. I carried my things down the stairs and saw them standing on the patio. Grabbing a piece of paper, I try to scribbled a note, but end up not doing it. Somehow I doubt that he will care where I'm at or that I even left. I grabbed the keys to the car I'm allowed to use, I loaded my bags and pulled away.

I searched for hotels nearby and found one outside Stover, near the interstate. I hope it's a fairly nice one. My parents never bother to look at the bills for any of my credit cards, so it could be one that cost $500 a night and they wouldn't notice.

After an hour, I arrived. It's not a dump but it's also not the Hilton, it will do just fine, I checked in for a few days. As I walked to my room I decided that I would call Robert in a few days to have him pick me up. I can stay at a hotel closer to home or book a flight to some place else for the rest of the summer.

I laid down on the bed and buried my face in a pillow, how could I have been so stupid? Not only was I having the most mind blowing sex ever but with someone I barely knew. One that apparently has a girlfriend at that! I was stupid for letting myself think that this could be more than a summer fling, when he said that he attends NYU I could almost picture us dating.

"Stupid, stupid, stupid," banging my fist against the pillow.

My phone rang and pulled me from my thoughts, I don't recognize the number so I don't answer it. It rang a second time, then a third, fourth, and fifth time with the same number. Figuring it was something important, or some jackass, I picked up the sixth time, "hello."

"Theresa, baby?" he sounded panicked.

"Yes, where.."

I hung up on him before he could finish, having no desire to hear his lies. He called me relentlessly for the next two hours, just when I thought he had given up, my phone alerted me for a text message. It was him.

M: Where are you?

T: I'm fine, I will bring your moms car back in a few days.

M: Please let me explain

T: Explain what? Your girlfriend?

M: No it's not like that. Would you please just answer your phone.

M: Theresa?

I shut off my phone, tossing it on the night stand, closing my eyes desperate for sleep. Maybe I'll wake up and this will all just be some nightmare. Hearing banging, I jump up in bed, it took me a moment to remember where I was and even longer to realize that it was someone banging on my door. It was dark outside so I must've slept for a few hours.

Looking through the peephole, I see Mitch standing there, "go away!"

"I'm not leaving until you talk to me."

Feeling pissed off, I flung the door open, "how did you even know where I was?"

In one swift motion he cupped my face, pulling me in for passionate kiss. He backed me up into the room and kicked the door shut with his foot. "The GPS on moms car, that's how I found you," he's breathless.

"W-where's Beth?" trying to regain my composure.

"I sent her back home," resting his forehead against mine.
