Chapter Twenty One

I watched Wyatt as he put his t-shirt on, my hands on my hips.

“I don’t think you should go in,” I said firmly.

“Yeah I know,” he chuckled. “I’ve only got two appointments. Not big stuff and then we can come home.” He turned to me and smiled. I knew for Wyatt going to work and being the amazing talented artist he was would help him. I was also terrified that walking past the place where he lost sixty percent of his blood might fuck him up a little bit. I followed him out the door, my heart racing. As we got into the car I turned to him.

“Are you going to be okay?” I asked him, chewing my bottom lip.

“I think so, I have you so it’s fine.” His voice was soft and I nodded, watching him drive. As we got to the shop my heart was in my mouth, I looked at him as we got out. He looked okay, but I wasn’t sure if it was a front. I grabbed his hand as we walked in, Luz was at the desk and she burst into tears the minute she saw us.

“W! Fucking hell!” She grabbed him, her face in his chest.

“Luz, my neck. Fuck!” He shut his eyes and she jumped back.

“I’m so sorry! I was fucking terrified, I thought you were going to die man!” She shouted, grabbing his arm. Wyatt chuckled, putting his arm around her shoulders.

“I got that,” he laughed. “I’m fine, I have two appointments today, Gabby is going to sit with me.” He smiled at me. Luz nodded, wiping her face, she came and gave me a cuddle and I chuckled as she stepped back.

“I owe you an apology Luz. I was a fucking bitch to you on the phone,” I said softly. She waved her hand in front of her face, a huge smile.

“Don’t be stupid, I was hysterical, not what you needed. It just fucked me up so much to see it and I don’t know,” she shivered. “I don’t think you should be back though W, it’s early.” Luz said to him and I laughed.

“Yep, I know that too. Thanks Luz,” he chuckled, dragging me through the curtain.

“Wyatt!” A muscular man stood from a tattoo chair. He was covered in ink, nearly as much as Wyatt and his dark eyes lit up as he saw us. “How the fuck are you feeling?” He asked Wyatt.

“I’m good, Tom this is my girlfriend Gabby, Gabby this is Tom he is one of the other guys here. We’ve known each other for years.” Wyatt smiled as I shook Tom’s hand.

“Nice to meet you,” I told him.

“Yeah, erm nice to meet you.” His voice was quiet and he looked bashful.

“What?” I asked, panicking slightly. Have I seen this guy in a club? That was always my first panic when I met new people. Had I performed oral sex on you?

“Sorry, Gabby you’re fucking beautiful. How did you end up with Wyatt?” Tom asked me, laughing.

“Fuck off,” Wyatt said, sitting at his chair. I giggled, moving my hair behind my ear.

“Beautiful people attract beautiful people,” I shrugged.

“Yeah your kids are going to be models,” Tom laughed sitting down. I looked over at Wyatt who caught my eye, grinning at me. I felt my cheeks burn as I leaned against the wall next to him.

“You can go shopping or something babe, this might be a bit boring,” Wyatt snickered.

“You don’t mind?” I asked him. I was desperate to get some new underwear, it had been barely three days since we fucked but my body was desperate for him.

“No, go on. I’m alright,” he smiled up at me, getting his notepad out. I leaned down, my lips to his ear.

“Choose a colour,” I whispered.

“Blue,” he replied, turning his chair to me. I nodded. “Why?” He asked, his eyebrow raised.

“I’m going to get some new underwear,” I whispered to him.

“Amazing, please do that.” His voice was quiet. “Get something blue that I can put inside you as well,” he whispered to me and I nearly squealed.

“I can hear you two!” Tom laughed and I stood up, again we weren’t embarrassed. “Don’t pop a stich, fucking hell Wyatt,” Tom laughed, turning to us.

“I can’t promise that I’m afraid.” I ran my hand down Wyatt’s face. I gave him a wave as I walked through the curtain, hearing Tom’s voice.

“You must have a permanent hard on with that one W.”

I took my time as I walked around the sex shop, I had managed to get something blue I could put inside me, a brand new dildo. Not that I needed one, I got a blue corset too which I was very happy with. I walked back into the shop, behind the curtain. Wyatt’s head was down, his hands on a man’s chest. It looked beautiful from here and my heart swelled as I watched him work, sitting on the bench opposite the chairs. Tom was finishing up cleaning and he looked at me.

“How did you two meet anyway?” He asked me, his eyebrow raised.

“Erm,” I mumbled, not sure what to say.

“Me and Gabby went to the same club,” Wyatt said, without looking up.

“Oh! Shit. Didn’t realise that’s where you met the loves of your life?” Tom laughed and I smiled at him.

“Love of your life hey?” I teased, looking at Wyatt. His head came up and he had a wicked grin on his face.

“That’s what Wyatt tells me. I hear you are very good to him.” Tom’s voice was serious, no humour or teasing.

“We’re a good pair,” I breathed out and we were. Our personalities worked well together.

“Good, I’m glad. Wyatt deserves it.” Tom nodded, his face serious.

“I also deserve it just an FYI.” I grinned and Tom chuckled.

“Wyatt! You didn’t tell me she was feisty too?” He laughed.

“Yep, you should have seen her with Caroline.” Wyatt spoke, his head still down. Tom sat on his chair, looking at me.

“You saw her?” He asked.

“Yeah, she was at the hospital.” I shrugged.

“Fuck off!” Tom shouted.

“Yeah, waiting to put a pillow over my head,” Wyatt said, sighing.

“Stop!” I shouted to Wyatt, turning back to Tom. “I made her apologise.” I smiled like the cat who got the cream. Tom put his head back, wiping his face with his hands.

“The woman’s not well, you know that right?” Tom asked and I nodded.

“Definitely, you can see it in her eyes.” I shook my head as I spoke. “Anyway, enough about her.” I rolled my eyes.

“All done,” Wyatt stood up, stretching his back. The man stood, staring into the mirror. He had a koi fish on his chest and it was absolutely mind blowing, so unbelievably life-like.

“Wyatt man!” The guy shouted, slapping his back. “Amazing, I’m so glad I waited for you!” I looked at Wyatt, a shy smile on his face.

“I’m glad you like it,” he said, his smile still on.

“W, go home with your missus, you’ve done enough for today. I’ll cream him.” Tom said, winking at me.

“Thanks Tom,” Wyatt smiled at him, putting his things away. I watched Tom tend to the man as Wyatt grabbed my hand.

“Happy? Two tattoos and now we can go.” Wyatt said to me, dragging me through the curtain.

“Bye Luz,” he waved at her and I gave her a smile as we walked out the shop.

“Why are you pulling me?” I teased him, his hand still in mine.

“I need to see what’s in that bag.”
