𝑂𝑓 𝑎𝑙𝑙 𝑓𝑢𝑐𝑘𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑑𝑎𝑦𝑠 𝑡𝑜 𝑏𝑒 𝑙𝑎𝑡𝑒 𝐼 𝑝𝑖𝑐𝑘𝑒𝑑 𝑡𝑜𝑑𝑎𝑦. I screamed in my mind. I slowed down as I got closer to my classroom door.

“Good morning Mira.” I smiled back at the professor as I moved quickly to get an open seat in the class. There were whispers as I walked. I had on my usual sweatpants and over-sized sweatshirt combo on I don't understand the whispering. Maybe something was happening behind me.

𝑁𝑜𝑡ℎ𝑖𝑛𝑔. 𝑆𝑜 𝑤ℎ𝑎𝑡’𝑠 𝑔𝑜𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑜𝑛?

A football player pushed his friends down so there was space for me to sit. I thanked him and sat down. I rapidly took out my notebook writing down what the professor was going over for the quiz next week.

I was invested in writing my notes that I didn't see someone calling for my attention until I felt something hit me on the right side of my head. A piece of paper landed on my notebook. I opened the paper.

ℳ𝒾𝓇𝒶 𝒸ℴ𝓂ℯ 𝓉ℴ 𝓂𝓎 𝓅𝒶𝓇𝓉𝓎 𝓈ℴ 𝓌ℯ 𝒸𝒶𝓃 𝒽𝒶𝓋ℯ 𝓈ℴ𝓂ℯ 𝒻𝓊𝓃 ℴ𝓃 𝒮𝒶𝓉𝓊𝓇𝒹𝒶𝓎.

There was a drawing of a winking emoji next to his name and I wanted to strangle the man.

𝓢𝓽𝓾𝓹𝓲𝓭 𝓹𝓻𝓲𝓬𝓴.

I put an eraser in the letter so it would be heavier and threw the letter back at him snickering as it hit him. I quickly continued my notes.

The professor called for a five-minute break some people left, a lot of people stayed. The football player I was sitting next to moved and Jayden took his place. I internally groaned but outwardly I pretended he wasn't there as I looked at the study packet.

“What do you want me to send it on?” I put my paper down and looked at him confused.

“What? Send what?” I looked at the packet and he took it from me placing the letter in my hands instead.

“You said I would have to pay you a thousand dollars for you to consider. So what do you want me to send your money on? I could also give you cash, but I would have to go to an ATM.”

I blinked, once, twice, three times before what he said clicked in my mind, “Apple Pay is fine.”

𝐻𝑒’𝑠 𝑏𝑙𝑢𝑓𝑓𝑖𝑛𝑔. 𝑇ℎ𝑒 𝑟𝑢𝑚𝑜𝑟𝑠 𝑎𝑏𝑜𝑢𝑡 ℎ𝑖𝑚 𝑎𝑟𝑒 𝑗𝑢𝑠𝑡 𝑟𝑢𝑚𝑜𝑟𝑠.

“I need your new number then cariño mio."

“I'm not your darling, but gimme your phone.” I sneered at first then held my hand out. He gave me his phone immediately and typed my number in, handing it back feeling confident that he was going to chicken out or make an excuse.

“Check your phone cariño mio,” I growled at the pet name as I unlocked my phone seeing the bubble of $1000. I opened my wallet app to see if this was bullshit or not but nope I had $1000 to my name. My eyes widened, “You can text me or tell me what your answer is.” he winked as he stood up trading seats with the boy from earlier.

𝑊𝑒𝑙𝑙 𝑓𝑢𝑐𝑘.

I didn't focus for the rest of class. I was baffled.

𝐻𝑜𝑛𝑒𝑠𝑡𝑙𝑦, 𝐼 𝑓𝑒𝑙𝑡 𝑎 𝑙𝑖𝑡𝑡𝑙𝑒 𝑏𝑖𝑡 𝑎 𝑙𝑖𝑡𝑡𝑙𝑒 𝑟𝑒𝑠𝑝𝑒𝑐𝑡 𝑓𝑜𝑟 ℎ𝑖𝑚, 𝑏𝑢𝑡 𝐼 𝑟𝑒𝑓𝑢𝑠𝑒 𝑡𝑜 𝑏𝑒𝑙𝑖𝑒𝑣𝑒 𝑡ℎ𝑜𝑠𝑒 𝑠𝑡𝑢𝑝𝑖𝑑 𝑎𝑠𝑠 𝑟𝑢𝑚𝑜𝑟𝑠 𝑎𝑏𝑜𝑢𝑡 ℎ𝑖𝑚 𝑎𝑛𝑑 ℎ𝑖𝑠 𝑑𝑎𝑑.

The professor dismissed us and I ran out of the classroom. I had a break until two.

I took a breather near the library's entrance and walked in looking for a free table. I was heading to the back when I was grabbed.

“Cariño mio” I was greeted by Jayden’s grayish-green eyes and I narrowed my eyes realizing who it was. I licked his hand and he removed his hand from my mouth. He wiped his hand on his pants. I pushed away from him going to the back. There wasn't anyone other than Jayden and I.

He sat across from me and I ignored his existence studying.

“Mariah.” I got up and placed a hand around his throat.

“It's Mira. Call me that name again and I’ll kill you.” I hissed out tightening my grip when he smirked.

Mira.” He choked out and I slightly released him, “Okay, I'll send another thousand if you come.”

“I'm not going. I don't like parties and all you wanna do is fuck me.”

“Seems like you need a good fuck with how uptight you are.”

I used two hands to choke him, “Bitch. I am here for an education. Dick and whatever bullshit come AFTER.”

“You're gonna burn out that way. It's already looking that way, you probably think you're in your sweatshirt and sweat right now.”

𝑇ℎ𝑒 𝑓𝑢𝑐𝑘 𝑖𝑠 ℎ𝑒 𝑡𝑎𝑙𝑘𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑎𝑏𝑜𝑢𝑡? 𝐼 𝐴𝑀! I looked down at myself and realized that I was in fact NOT in my usual go-to clothes. A black sweatshirt crop top and biker shorts. I took a deep breath realizing he was right.

“One party to let loose and let me help you unwind.”

“Help me unwind by fucking me?” I raised an eyebrow at him.

“It's a good stress reliever.” he shrugged.

“I don't want to add to your ego and conquered bitch list.”

“You’d be the fourth girl on the list then.” I removed my hands from around his neck as I narrowed my eyes at him, “I'm telling you the truth. Come on Mira it's senior year. Our last year here. You're always working so hard.”

My eyes softened as I looked him in the eye. 𝐻𝑒’𝑠 𝑡𝑒𝑙𝑙𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑡𝑟𝑢𝑡ℎ.

Then I hardened back up, “I have too many scholarships riding on my attendance and GPA. A silver spoon like you would never understand. I don't have daddy's money to do whatever the fuck I want.” I went to sit down and study but he grabbed me by the throat gently as he stood over me and pressed his lips to mine.

I closed my eyes as my shoulders released any tension within them as I began leaning into him and I felt his lips curl into a smile and he pulled away.

“I'll give you one hundred thousand dollars if you come to the party, have sex with me, and stay over until Monday." my eyes widened.

𝐻𝑒 𝑤𝑎𝑠 𝑠𝑒𝑟𝑖𝑜𝑢𝑠 𝑎𝑏𝑜𝑢𝑡 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑡ℎ𝑜𝑢𝑠𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑏𝑢𝑡 𝐼 𝑑𝑜𝑛’𝑡 𝑢𝑛𝑑𝑒𝑟𝑠𝑡𝑎𝑛𝑑... 𝑊ℎ𝑦 𝑖𝑠 ℎ𝑒 𝑠𝑜 𝑑𝑒𝑡𝑒𝑟𝑚𝑖𝑛𝑒𝑑?

I gulped as he looked down at me. He was so serious and it looked like he wasn't taking no for an answer.

“I’ll come to your party and spend the weekend with you.”

“And?” I gulped again as I tried to look away, but he held onto my chin forcing me to keep eye contact with him, “I have to hear you say it, Mariah.”

For whatever reason when he said my birth name this time. I wasn't mad, it was actually kind of comforting. He was giving me a choice. He was showing me how serious he was being about this.

"I'll also sleep with you Jayden."

"Thank you. You get your money when you come to my house in two days." He winked at me as he left. I plopped back into my seat dumbfounded. I looked up hearing footsteps once more, "I forgot. Wear something sexy for me on Saturday." I couldn't think of a response in time as he walked away again.

"What the fuck did I get myself into?" I slammed my head into my book and groaned loudly.
