The Angry Color

The Angry Color

It is seen everywhere.

In the houses, in the trees, and in the air.

In the blood of the men who fight for freedom and in those who die by its sword.

In the sun that rises on each new day, and on the flags proclaiming; Liberty, the new lord.

It is the phantasma, the hideous dream that lives in rebels' hearts,

And it marches off to war with its followers to do its virtuous part.

You hear it in the countless cries of; "Liberty, Equality, Fraternity, or Death!"

And see it written on the face of the soul inside La Guillotine, facing the people's wrath.

It laid in patience, the monstrous beast,

Hidden beneath the rags of poverty, it waited to be released.

Its cause was hate, its hide was red.

A new kind of Fury was being bred.

Its cry was heard across the land,

The angry men of France did band.

They killed the chateau, and then they killed the king,

There was a new world for the winning.

It is seen everywhere.

In the houses, in the trees, and in the air.

In the blood of the men who fight for freedom ,and in those who die by its sword.

In the sun that rises on each new day, and on the flags proclaiming; Liberty, the new lord.

Jazmine Moore: this story is simply amazing in so many ways. I'm a self harmer myself and I found myself cringing at the brutal honestly of this story. The way it draws you in and makes you care about the characters like they are your friends. There is truth and beauty to this book. So much comes out of so litt...

PaulSenkel: If you like Arthur C. Clarke's Odyssey, especially The Final Odyssey, then you will probably also enjoy this book. I definitely did.It does, however, address a more adolescent public than the above-mentioned book.I enjoyed the story and finished it in a few days. The overall situation on earth an...

ianwatson: The comedy is original and genuinely funny, I have laughed out loud many times reading this book. But the story and the plot are also really engaging. The opening two or three chapters seem quite character-dense but they all soon come to life and there is no padding, filling or wasted time readin...

Sandra Estrada: I loved every minute of it and I thank my lucky stars that brought me to the story, it's been a whirlwind of emotions, plot twist after plot twist but I never got tired of them. Abby and Kade's story is a hard one to understand but once you're submerged in their story and love, you can't help but...

rajastreet: I enjoyed this piece! I loved the treatment of time and the premise! Some of the wording seemed a little out of place, but easily overlooked for a good a plot.

ernbelle: When I first started this story I was a little unsettled by all of the information that appears in the prologue, and wasn't sure if I would continue. However, I am very glad I did. The plot was very well thought out and really interesting. There were not any page breaks or markers to acknowledge ...

jaslynnash2015: I absolutely loved the story from beginning to end and I loved following each of the characters throughout their journey! Very captivating although there were a few grammar errors, but very captivating still! Can't wait for book 2!

Anno_Dominii: So I have read this twice now so I can give the best review!First, I really loved this. I couldn't stop reading it the first time, it was spellbinding. The story moved at a good pace, not too fast and each chapter caught the readers attention with some new development or twist. I loved Aurora an...

MelanyFrey: This is a contemporary “teenage” (yet not only “teenage”) story that covers a lot of important topics, such as child abuse, peer pressure etc. The story is complex and deep, yet a little predictable. You did a great characterization, so that, from the beginning of the story, I was familiar with t...

Ben Gauger: Kudos go to Liz Aguilar, author of To Have And to Hold a fast-paced, gripping, adrenaline rush from start to finish, one of perhaps the finest pieces of writing I've ever read, in particular because of its' telenovela-like feel, May she continually find success as an author. Bravo my dear, bravo!

LouiseJ2: I enjoyed the detail you went into with regards to the case. It made the UNSUB appear believable. The crisis in the middle of the story was my favorite part, very dramatic but not over the top. I feel like sometimes pairings can be overdone but I liked that some of the relationships were a little...
