My Enemy, My Brother

"Stop fidgeting!"

Draco scowled down at Hermione as she proceeded to tie his tie.

"I am perfectly capable of tying it myself, you know," he drawled.

Hermione glared, and he huffed.

"Poor Drakey-poo," Fred said, walking into the kitchen. Ignoring the glare that Draco shot him as well, he leaned over and gave Hermione a quick kiss.

Hermione finally finished, and Draco made a move to leave the kitchen, when she proceeded to firmly plant herself in the doorway, blocking him.

"You know it's bad luck to see the bride before the wedding!" She scolded.

Draco blinked. "She's in there?"

"Yes, I am! Now stay put or else!" Came the yell from the living room.

Draco obligingly backed up, and the three people exchanged humored glances as they heard Molly scolding her only daughter.

"You don't think we'll be this bad, will we?" Fred asked Hermione, wrapping his arm around her waist.

"I hope not!" George said upon entering the kitchen. He was closely followed by Angelina, Melody, and Harry.

Draco huffed, and rolled his eyes.

Flames sounded, and Snape walked through the fireplace. He paused a moment to stare at the group of young people.

"I still do not understand the reason you had to have your wedding here of all places," he drawled, looking very disapproving.

"Nice to see you too, Uncle Sev."

Molly came rushing into the kitchen, causing the room to become even more crowded.

"Where's Ron gotten to? Did Colin arrive? He was going to take a few pictures. And what of Lupin and Tonks?"

"Ron is with Lavender outside talking to Lupin about werewolf stuff. I'm assuming that Tonks and Teddy are with them, and I just saw Colin hauling his camera to the backyard for some reason," George supplied.

"What?! He's supposed to be in the front!" Molly cried, and was gone as quickly as she had shown up.

"Oh boy, I really can't imagine what this place will be like when my mum is here with yours for our wedding...she's already been a nightmare with the news of the engagement," Hermione said, exasperated.

"Okay, I need the he brides maids out here!" Came Molly's voice. Hermione, Melody and Angelina files out, and after a moment, George and Harry followed.

"I didn't need you boys yet-but, oh well..." They heard Molly say.

Fred smiled at Draco.

"Well, here you go. After tonight, you will officially be my brother."

"In law," Draco said.

"Still...I was never one for technicalities."

Draco smiled.

It was a crazy family to be a part of, but he couldn't imagine life any other way.
