Clinical Disillusion, a poem.
Here I stand, heart in handFeeling like a one-man bandFeet in the clouds and head in the sandBleeding my adrenal gland.
Everything has come undoneWhat was two dwindles to oneAnd nobody's having any fun; This darkness coats a dying sun.
I thought they gave me what I needThat would make my hate recede.Doctors told me to take heedAnd prescribed me legal speed.
But nothing works and nothing changesChemical that just estrangesNow I'm splashing down in stagesAnd ruining these once-clean pages.
