A Dance Through Thyme

By Fluteplayer56

Prologue: Gelegenheit gerne klopfen

"Yeah, I hear you...I'm coming! I just have to find the key."

Hermione Granger hauled herself out of bed, before stumbling over to her desk. She groped around, on and in it, before managing to find her keys in the Bermuda of a top drawer; however, her success was short-lived as she managed to tangle herself in her bathrobe.

She hopped across her flat, attempting to detangle herself, only to knock over part of her collection of herbs in pots. The smell of rosemary and thyme permeated the air as she finally made it to the front door, mentally cursing herself for having lost the keys in the first place.

She pushed the key into the lock and turned it, internally muttering ceasing the moment that she opened the door wide enough. A burly wizard was standing there, arms ramrod straight, wand pointing directly at her head.

His voice was gravelly and full of anger, but even through her fear, Hermione was able to detect what he must have thought was a sense of achievement.

"I told you that you would pay for what you did!"

With that, a bolt of brilliant light was ejected from the tip of his wand, hitting Hermione square in the face.

With that single blow, Hermione Granger knew no more.

fellipxx: I loved this novel, it was very sweet and big on the emotions I really enjoyed it and could not stop reading not even for a second, I even cried a little bit at a few touching moments too. And overall I found this book sweet, realistic and cheesy (I like the cheesy stuff).

Wilbur Jasin: I liked the book. The story is great. The author really did some quite research to come up with something like this. The book needs some editing but otherwise, it's a great read. Can't wait for the second book.

Deidre L. Swain: I understood where the story was going but the writing skills were lacking a lot. There are some places that had no flow. The plot was good which is what kept me reading the whole story. I think the author shows promise. They just need to tighten up on their skills to really get it going

sujitha nair: What's so distinct about this story was that it could easily be real.Praveena can be your classmate, neighbor or that girl you saw at the coffee shop today. The important decisions she makes and the dilemmas she faces, remind us of our own twisted lives.

Tina Hacker: Lindsey Martin=Bowen blends humor with satiric takes on modern life. Her characters are introduced seamlessly and tell the reader their stories--if we can read them between laughs! I hesitate to write exactly what she parodies but anyone reading her book will know in a minute. Just think large-...

Silver: Its a very good story you have here. Felicity´s ability is interesting and original, I love it. The setting of a hostpital was a good choice, especially since we get the scene with the other interns, gives it a very real feel. There wasnt much plot for me to rate, so I´ll update as the story prog...
