Going Back

Prologue

Severus Snape stared down into the swirling silvery blue substance that held many of his memories, both good and bad. He took a deep breath. Snape knew that he very well might not make it out of this battle and he knew that the battle was coming soon. The Dark Lord had been getting anxious and Snape's Dark Mark burned almost all the time now. This could quite possibly be his last chance to review everything that had led up to this point; every mistake, every happy encounter, every death. This could be the last chance for him to make sense of it all. Feeling the weight of what he was doing pressing down on his very soul, Snape looked into the stone basin and prepared himself to relive events that he swore to banish from his mind forever. Snape never had been good at keeping promises.

AN: Hello there, thanks for giving this a chance! The characters and timeline of this story will not be entirely accurate to the book but I will try to keep it as close as possible. The chapters will be relatively short (probably around 1,000 words) but as I plan for it to be episodic, I think it will work out. Please let me know what you think!

NRF: This story captivated me from the very first chapter. And although it tells the same old story of good verses evil, it is also a potent story of love and betrayal between two very different personalities.

Katharine Southworth: This is a charming story. Two young sisters work together as they explore fascinating worlds full of magic and intrigue. I loved the descriptions of each one. It was a joy to adventure into them and see what the author would deliver next. The playful and alluring creativity kept me reading. And t...

CyberWolfWrites: This is probably one of the best books about hybrids, or even werewolves and vampires, that I've ever read. Most books about vampire-werewolf hybrids that I've read are mainly focused on them (the werewolf-vampire hybrids) either being slaves, or just plain romance, which I do enjoy, but this boo...

NancyRichFoster: Wow! This is a blow you away story in every sense of the word. kudos to the author for a story about a killer virus caused by seeing colors, mad scientists, torture, friends, sacrifice and death. I read it in less then a day.

Keith: UNSCRIPTED is an excellent, well-told story of a woman who tries to find herself after the painful break-up of her marriage. She does so,intriguingly, by going to Cambodia to help supervise the first free election after the brutal reign of Pol Pot and The Killing Fields. I was drawn to this story...

Kevin Brand: My overall rating: 4.8/5 starsLoved. Every. Second. Everytime I came back to continue reading I got this overwhelming feeling of getting hooked on the first sentence... kathylusk56: To be honest It has been a very long time in reading such a good story. I enjoyed evey one in the story. The writer gave great thought in creating their character. It was hard to not just keep going until the end was over but I would put it down every evening. I didn't want it to end too soon. ...

aoifecollopy22: I loved how the author had the conflict come back later in the story. Also how they passed time without going over anything. That really helped move the story along. This kept my up for a few hours. YOU SHOULD READ THIS

ArgyrisMetaxas: Thrilling story which builds layer ontop of layer. A few mis spellings every few chapters. What I found special was that it took a modern day problem and took it to its logical conclusion and plays this realism with gritting precision. I'm always on edge ready to shout from adrenaline. This is gre...
