How could life be any better?
Blaine stood at his locker at the end of the day shoving books into it while worrying about after graduation on Friday. "Hey." Santana smiled as she walked towards him.
"Hi." He half smiled.
"The future." He sighed as he shut his locker and leaned against it.
"Tell me about it." Santana groaned, copying his actions.
"Brittany got all F's in her tests so she's re-sitting them." She sighed. "She can't graduate unless she gets at least a D in everything, she has to graduate with us."
"Puck needs to get at least a D in his geography test so he can too." He nodded sadly.
"What's up with your future anyway?"
"Kurt and Rachel got into NYADA..."
"That's good though, right?"
"Yeah, I just don't know what I'm going to do... if I go with them what will I do in New York?"
"Didn't you apply to collage?" She asked confusingly.
"Nope." He breathed, popping the 'p'.
"Blaine..." Called Emma as he walked through the font door.
He walked into the living room to see her and Aimee watching T.V on the couch. "Hey."
Just as he had said that Will and Cooper walked inside with smiles on their faces. Will jumped onto the sofa next to Emma and wrapped an arm around her while Cooper gave his little brother a hug. "What are you doing here Cooper?" Asked Blaine.
"I came to drop off all of you and Aimee's stuff and tell you a story." Cooper grinned at Blaine's raised eyebrow. Blaine sat down while Cooper spoke. "Well, it all started when a young man who wears way to much hair gel" Blaine rolled his eyes at his older brother as he mocked him. "performed an acoustic version of 'Teenage Dream' at the 48th annual National show choir competition." Everyone - other than Will and Aimee - looked at him wondering where the hell he was going with this. "This young man had arranged this amazing version of the song by himself and his older, better looking, brother and their red vine loving little sister bumped into a pretty important lady after the competition. They began to talk and got onto the topic of the hair gel loving young man and how amazing of a performer he was. When the important lady found out that he was their brother, she was pleasantly surprised and began asking questions about him so the amazing older brother and little sister told her everything until she started asking about his grades and school stuff that they didn't know about."
"And that's when the young man's teacher favorite in the world got dragged into the conversation and the important lady found out about the young mans grades, achievements and school life." stated Will.
"So a random lady walks up to you guys, starts asking questions about me and you answer them..?" Asked Blaine with furrowed eyebrows.
"But that's the thing Blaine... she wasn't a random lady." Cooper grinned. "It was Carmen Tibideaux the Dean of Vocal Performance and Song Interpretation at a little school called NYADA."
Blaine cocked his head to the side. "Where are you going with this?"
"Madam Tibideaux and I exchanged emails and we sent her an official application for you along with our address." Will smiled. "After you left this morning a letter came for you." Will held up a letter for him to take. Blaine swore that he had stopped breathing for a second but snapped out of it as he took the letter. He slowly opened it and read it with an emotionless face.
"I got in." He said slowly, astonished. He suddenly felt tears well up in his eyes as he looked at everyone as they smiled at him proudly. "Thank you." He breathed.
Emma got up from the couch and reached for some tissues as she began to tear up and that's when it happened. That's when Emma's water broke. Right there in the living room. "Oh my god." Everyone quickly stood up and watched as her eyes widened once she saw the carpet. "Look at the carpet!"
"Forget the carpet, we gotta get you to hospital!" laughed Blaine as he picked up Aimee and grabbed the labor bag they had already got set up days before on her due date. Will and Cooper got Emma into the back seat with Aimee and Blaine before rushing to the hospital.
"What's happening Blainey?" Asked Aimee as she, Blaine and Cooper sat in the hospital waiting room.
"Emma's having the baby." He smiled.
"Really?!" She grinned as he nodded. She hopped onto his lap and hugged her brother's close.
After a while, Blaine looked over at Cooper. "Cooper?"
"What's up Squirt?" He grinned.
"Are you still at the asshole's?"
"Oh god no." He chuckled. "He's out of my life forever."
"So, where are you going to go? What are you going to do?" Blaine began to panic.
"Wow, chill out Squirt." He smiled, mockingly. "I got offered a job at GQ and I've decided to take it."
"Yeah, I mean. I love the job, the pay's good and it's closer to you. It's going to be awesome."
"Cooper, that's amazing." Grinned Blaine. "Were both going to New York, the city that never sleeps."
By the time Will entered the waiting room after the birth, Aimee was asleep on Blaine's lap."It's a girl." He breathed and accepted hug and a congratulations from Cooper. He smiled warmly at them all. "Do you guys want to meet you new baby sister?" Both Aimee and Blaine nodded while Cooper looked slightly shocked when Will wrapped an arm around his shoulder and lead them to Emma.
They walked inside to see Emma laid down on the bed holding her baby girl. She looked up and gestured for them to come closer with a smile. They all stood around the bad admiring the beautiful baby. Blaine smiled as he looked at her; she had the cutest little face Blaine had seen since Aimee was born. He watched as she opened her eyes to see they were a sweet honey color, just like her mom's along with dark blond hair like her dad. "What's her name?" Asked Aimee.
"Jenny Allan Micheal Schuester." Grinned Will.
After a while the new directions showed up and came to see Jenny. Kurt, Santana and Brittany stood next to Blaine and after introducing her to everyone, Jenny began to get a little tired. Emma laid her down between Aimee and herself and watched as Will got out his ukulele that was - for some reason - packed in the bag. Will sat on a stool and began to play softly making everyone stood around the room smile as he began to sing. Noah smiled as he recognized the song and sang along while Quinn rested her head on his shoulder.
Somewhere over the rainbow
Way up high
There's a land that I dreamed of
Once in a lullaby (Puck: lullaby)
Will and Puck:
Somewhere over the rainbow
Brittany kissed Santana's cheek and held her hand as they listened while Kurt rested his head of Blaine's shoulder.
Skies are blue
And the dreams that you dare to dream
Really do come true (Puck: come true)
I'll wish upon a star
And wake up where the clouds are
Far behind me
Everyone looked around to see them smiling lovingly and happily while Jenny slowly fell asleep.
Will and Puck:
Where troubles melt like lemon drops
High above the chimney tops
That's where you'll find me...
Oh, somewhere over the rainbow
Birds fly over the rainbow
Why, then, oh, why can't I? (Puck: I?)
As it turns out, after a hole weeks worth of tutoring and encouragement, both Noah and Brittany managed to pass their tests and the seniors were all heading to graduation together dressed in their red robes and graduate caps smiling as Noah and Finn sang 'glory days' while they waited for their names to be called out and one by one they made their way over to Emma to accept their diplomas. "Mike Chang, Quinn Fabray, Mercedes Jones, Noah Puckerman, Brittany Pierce, Kurt Hummel," Kurt grinned, kissed Blaine quickly on the cheek and went inside. "Blaine Anderson," called Principal Figgins, Blaine took a deep breath and made his way inside to see everyone grinning, laughing and singing along to the song. He searched the crowd to see Will holding Jenny, Aimee and Cooper stood clapping encouragingly. Blaine got his diploma and hugged Emma before turning over his tassel and walking over to the other seniors. He stood next to Kurt and took his hand smiling. We did it. "Finn Hudson," He watched as Finn got up, did the same and made his way over to the rest of us. "and Rachel Berry." Rachel came inside grinning from ear to ear. She got her diploma and made her way over to us to kiss Finn happily. "William McKinley I present to you the graduating class of 2012." And that's when everyone threw they're caps in the air cheering.
Kurt and Blaine cleared out their lockers and made their may down the hall to see Brittany doing the same and Santana throwing all of her stuff into a box. "Hey." smiled Kurt. Brittany just smiled and hugged them both.
"Hi." Santana smirked.
"What's that?" asked Blaine, noticing a red envelope in her hand.
Santana followed his gaze and smiled. "It's a graduation present from my parents. It's a shit load of money they saved for me to go to collage."
"I didn't know you where going to collage." Said Kurt.
"I'm not." She smiled sadly. "My mom said that I can do what I want with it."
"Really?" asked Blaine.
"You could go to New York with us." suggested Kurt.
"We could?" asked Santana.
"Totally." Grinned Blaine.
"What do you think Britt?"
"I think it's an awesome Idea." confirmed Brittany.
They all walked outside and over to the other seniors to say their goodbyes. Blaine hugged each and every one of them and was surprised when Noah spoke sadly when he hugged him. "This isn't goodbye, right?"
"No way, you can come visit me in New York and I'll come back here or wherever you are. I'm always a call way."
Puck nodded as he pulled away. "See you soon, bro." He smirked before punching him on the arm and making his way over to Quinn.
"See you." Blaine sighed as he looked at the people around him.
"You okay?" asked Kurt, taking his hand.
Blaine smiled, he and Aimee had a new, real, family - including a new baby sister - and got their brother back. He had the best friends anyone could ask for and he was on his way to collage in New York with met the love of his life.
How could life be any better?
"Better than okay." He smiled lovingly before placing a kiss on Kurt's lips.
"I love you." Kurt smiled.
"I love you too."
