New Life in One Piece

Chapter I: Weird Girl; Unknown Package

[Z's POV]

5 minutes left, then I'm home free. Why does school have to be so boring? Oh, sorry. I forgot to introduce myself. People always call me Z because of the scars on my left arm. I didn't get these scars, I was born with them. I don't really care about it so I can't complain there. I'm 18 years old, senior at Canoga Park High School. I like reading, being alone, and watching anime; mainly 'One Piece' and 'Pokémon'. Hair and eye color: dark brown. Height: same as Zoro. Favorite colors: black, red, and green. Some call me emo, some call me goth, but I don't give a crap what they call me. I also have a straw-hat necklace and poke ball chocker (my treasures) with me at all times.

I was in English class, tracing a Pokémon from my Pokedex. I know what your thinking, 'Why is a 12th grader tracing Pokémon?' Well the answer's simple, I AM FREAKIN BORED! I just finish tracing and coloring Togepi for someone in my class. I don't know why but I give people my art. I looked at the clock and only 10 seconds are left.

"5…4…3…2…1…" I said counting down to myself.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Ring~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Alright students, class is over. Have a wonderful and safe spring break." The teacher said.
I grabbed my stuff and ran out the door. The gate was close again so I just climb over. I started walking home while listing to my iPod.
'2 weeks off! Hell ya! I can final have some peace and quiet. I just hope my brothers don't bug me…again.'
When I got home, I saw a package on the doorstep. It was address…to me?
"That's odd? I didn't order anything." I said to myself.
I took it with me to my room quietly so I don't disturb my 2 brothers from their videogame marathon. They're always like this so it doesn't bother me much but when they scream "DIE! DIE! DIE!" You get used to it really. I went to my room and opened it.
When I opened the package, it was empty. 'What the? Who the hell send this?' I was about to throw it away but then-
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~BOOM~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

'The hell? Thunder? It was clear all day and now there's a storm.' I thought as I walked outside to see the damage.

The sky was completely black with only the lighting as its light. I looked at the sky and for some reason I thought I saw…

"Zekrom, what are you doing? What's with the storm; in spring for crying out loud?" I said to myself so people won't think I'm crazy.

A bolt of lighting came down and somehow hit the box that I dropped on the floor. At first, its like nothing happened but when I open the box it sucked me in. I was falling and normally a girl would scream but to me this is both cool and weird. The last thing I remember was seeing Pokémon around me. And then darkness took over.

Lydia Walters: I really enjoyed this novel. It gives us a view of what could be if we really tried.Also that there's nothing wrong with loving our LORD and our fellow humans. couldn't wait to get to each new chapter (mission). Thanks, Joe!

Catherine Kopf: This novel is a very interesting piece of young adult fiction, with a lot going behind it. At first glance, one appears to get a "Twilight" feel from hearing it's about werewolves and vampires, but this story is unique and isn't like that. One thing that I really enjoyed was the fact that it to...

MavisMcQueen: "To Live Again" is a well crafted, highly engaging, heart vibrating tale surrounding our favorite Elven King. The author will keep you engrossed until the very end and by that time you will feel so strongly for Clara and the other characters that you will never want it to end...like ever. Thrandu...

ArgyrisMetaxas: Thrilling story which builds layer ontop of layer. A few mis spellings every few chapters. What I found special was that it took a modern day problem and took it to its logical conclusion and plays this realism with gritting precision. I'm always on edge ready to shout from adrenaline. This is gr...

MegaRogueLegend666: I love this story so much. It's impossible to describe my excitement with each new chapter in words. The author has such a good writing style, very good descriptions of the fighting and character descriptions/emotions. the plot is also amazing! This fanfic could be a side anime show or novel ......

Jessica Esa: With a tantalising end to the first chapter, the authour has given us a treat and a welcome addition to the fantasy adventure genre. To limit it to just such would be an injustice however, as this novel clearly draws on elements of historical fiction, fairy tale and horror. Simply, there's someth...

Charlie_8472: Recommended to me by a friend, I thought I'd give this a read. As a hobbyist blacksmith, the blurb certainly caught my attention. I found the sentence about them drinking, dancing and fighting a strange combination of activities, perhaps a reflection of the writer’s personality and humour. Howeve...

aoifecollopy22: I loved how the author had the conflict come back later in the story. Also how they passed time without going over anything. That really helped move the story along. This kept my up for a few hours. YOU SHOULD READ THIS

rudyoxborough46: An action-packed, mystical adventure awaits anyone wishing to read this novel. I’m amazed at how well you’ve managed to flesh out the characters in this book, and I hope to read more of your work.I’ve read books about goblins and elves and all that mumbo-jumbo before, and most accounts of these c...

cassandrab: Delightful SciFi (for a change)! I am not a SciFi fan: mostly the genre is far too dystopic for me. This book (written by a high-school friend) is, on the other hand, generally upbeat. Yes, Earth's future is threatened. But Earth has a chance to plan a response. And (spoiler alert) ultimately win...

Valeria Rocco Lo Presti: I have to confess that I read the book in less than a week. I became obsessed with the characters as I was entering to their world. It is definitely a must for those who enjoy a pleasant reading with amazing writing skills!

Sara Grover: Being that this is your first story and I assume first draft, a lot of little mistakes are common, we all have made them; little things like your instead of you're, missed capitalization, missing punctuation, etc. As for the plot, I have a lot of questions and I did leave comments on certain sect...

kathylusk56: To be honest It has been a very long time in reading such a good story. I enjoyed evey one in the story. The writer gave great thought in creating their character. It was hard to not just keep going until the end was over but I would put it down every evening. I didn't want it to end too soo...

Dru83: This is the second or third time I've read this one and I just love it. It has just about everything you could ever want packed into one scifi story. It still has some parts that are a little rough in terms of grammar, punctuation, and word usage, but it's still an awesome story. I love how detai...
