Important Information
The setting and timeline of The New Eyes is 17 years after the destruction of the Ring. The setting is in Minis Tirith, a now peaceful city. Instead of a fortress of strength, the walls were taken down a year after the Rings demise. It is now a large and peaceful trading post for all people in Middle Earth. Sam is living peacefully in the Shire along with Marry and Pippin. Occasionally, Gandalf the white will come around and say hello to the young hobbits. But this story does not focus on the calm lives of Sam and everyone in the Shire, it focuses on the the tragic life of a man named Sarayo.
