The After Math?

As soon as we went back to school on Monday, rumours have already begun spreading.

Well, it wasn't really a rumour, since it was true after all.

I mean, I am dating Seungmin now. And we did make a contract.

As I walked down the hall, people parted away from me. They were all whispering, looking at me with their eyes.

I felt really uncomfortable. It was something I was not used to. My shoulders were tense, my hands gripping the books in my hands.

I sped up, trying to get away from everyone. But there was no where to go, except for the bathroom.

I hurried inside, and opened a door to a stall. I sat inside there, and sighed a breath of relief. There didn't seem to be anyone here at the moment.

But boy, was I wrong. Of course there would be people in the bathroom, wether they needed to go or not.

"I can't believe Juniper's dating Seungmin. I mean, she's not even that pretty," Some girl said.

It wasn't like I cared anyways, I thought. I sat up slowly, and listened in on what the girls outside were saying.

"Yeah. Honestly, I don't get what he sees in her," Another voice said.

"I hope he'll leave her soon," A third voice said.

I gritted my teeth, and stayed still, anger bubbling inside me.

Now this, this made me mad. What the hell do the girls even know?

I opened the stall door, and threw it open.

The girls' mouths hung open, and they froze. They didn't expect me to be there, listening in their conversation.

"You bast-"

Before I could finish, the girls all fled, the bathroom door swinging shut.

That's right, I thought, Get the hell out of my face.

"They did what!?"

I sat next to Seungmin in the cafeteria.

"Yo, that's not right," Han said, sipping his orange juice.

I let out an angry sigh, my hand balled up at my side.

"I'll go talk to them if you want," Hyunjin said from the other side of the table.

"No," I said.

Hyunjin shrugged at me, and continued eating his lunch.

I continued eating my lunch as well, and I kept glaring at the table top in front of me.

Eventually the bell rang, and it signalled that we had to get to our next class.

I got up and looked around after a long time. Everyone was leaving the cafeteria. I looked around our group, but I couldn't see Chris.

"Hey Seungmin, where's Chris? Why haven't I seen him in a while?" I asked him, as he threw something in the trash.

Seungmin turned around and looked at me worriedly.

"Did you guys get in a fight or something?" I asked him, my eyebrows scrunched up.

"No," He said, "I was just worried that you keep thinking about those girls. And if they ever bother you again, tell me right away, okay?"

I nodded and smiled.

It was nice to see that Seungmin was worried about me.

"To answer your question, Chris is just hanging out with some other people these days," Seungmin said, "He's hanging out with a girl, I think. He might get a girlfriend as well,"

Seungmin winked at me, and grinned. I grinned back and we walked out of the cafeteria, side by side.
