An Agreement?

School ended quicker than expected, and Juniper was soon on her way back home.

And this time, Seungming tagged along again.

"Stop following me, for goddamn's sake!" I shouted at him.

"Let's go eat something," He said, tugging as my arm.

"What's wrong with you?" I asked him, my face filled with disgust.

"I just wanted to eat something with you," Seungmin said.

"No. And I never will," I said, tugging my arm free from his.

Seungmin grabbed onto my arm and started tugging me away. I struggled to get away. Even if I was stronger than most guys at school, I couldn't beat Seungmin.

"Fine! I'll follow you," I spat at him. He grinned, knowing that he won. He started jogging ahead, and I ran after him, not wanting to get lost in the crowd.

"Here," Seungmin said, placing a chocolate frappuccino in front of me. I snatched it and took a sip, savouring the chocolate drink.

"What do you want?" I spat at him, putting the drink back down on the table.

Right now, we were sitting in a cafe near our school. He forced me along, and now I've wasted fifteen minutes for him. I'd rather be at home, free from Seungmin's grasp.

"Let's come to an agreement," Seungmin said.

"What are you talking about?" I asked him.

"You have my secret, and I have yours. They're basically weapons against us," Seungmin said, sipping his vanilla frappuccino.

"So what do you suggest then?" I asked, glaring at him.

"How about we write a contract?" He asked, smiling at me.

I said nothing, not knowing what to say to him.

"It's better this way! Come on!" He said. He sat there like a puppy, his big eyes staring at me.

I looked away. After a train of thought, I shook my head.

"Let's just not speak about one another's secrets, and not be in a relationship. That's much easier," I said, "Besides, why do you even start this rumour?"

I stared at him hard. He took a long sip from his drink. Eventually he put it down and rubbed his hands together.

"It's because I like you Juniper. I've been giving you hints throughout the the year." Seungmin said, "You really are blunt aren't you?"

I sat there, my eyes wide. My mouth slowly fell open, shocked at what Seungmin just said. Was all this done because he wanted to confess to me?

But, oh boy, was I wrong. He was still the idiot I knew.

"Ah-hah! Just joking!" Seungmin said, doubling over in his seat, laughing his head off. When he stopped, he wiped the tears from his eyes.

I was annoyed, and irritated. I was mad at him, and I wanted to beat him up.

"Sorry, sorry," Seungmin apologised, chuckling and laughing to himself.

"Let's get this over with," I said. I took a deep breath and tried to stay calm.

"Let's just write a contract. It's the easiest way to solve this problem," Seungmin started, "If I were to continue with this rumour, you'd spread my secret. And if you don't follow along with it, I would spread yours. We would be the destruction of each other,"

"Fine then," I said, "Are we going to write one now?"

Seungmin nodded, and took a sheet of paper out of his backpack. Then he took out his pencil case, and he started writing on the paper.

"Shall we start?"
