Trust Me
She stared at the green orbs in front of her. She couldn't help but smile slightly.
Reaching out, her hands gripped the tweed jacket in front of her.
"Eliza," she heard.
"Doctor," she replied softly.
A hand reached up and cupped her cheek. She flinched, then winced as she hadn't meant to do that.
"Eliza, I'm not going to hurt you. I'm not Jack," the Doctor said.
"I know you're not. But I-" she began, but the Doctor cut her off.
"You need to trust me now," he said before reaching his head down.
His lips met hers before fireworks exploded around them.
She had been waiting for this since Venice. They had just met Van Gogh. Eliza was sad that Rory was gone, so the Doctor took her and Amy to met Van Gogh. Well, it was really because the Doctor needed to save Van Gogh.
After they saved him, they went back to the museum and she saw that there was a new painting. It was called, "The White Daisy". On one of the petals, there was a note, "To the one that lit up my life."
The Doctor pulled back after a moment.
"Eliza," was all he said.
She then yanked him down to her level by his lapels and kissed him.
"Stay with me," she whispered against his lips.
"Always."
