Forever Mine

Sesshomaru turned and looked at his mate, Rin, beside him. A small smile coated her naturally light pink lips and her face was that of comtempt.

"Sesshomaru-sama..." she said in a soft voice in her sleep. He reached out his hand and moved a piece of her ebony hair away from her face. Never in a million years had he thought he would be so kind and passionate to a ningen. Or even mate one for that mattter. Back, say, around thirteen years ago, he would have scoffed at the idea of even allowing one to travel with him but when Rin cared for him in his most vulnerable state, he grew to care for the young child. When she became older, he mated her straight away.

"Hmm... No! Sesshomaru-sama ...help..." she called out lightly and began to toss and turn in her slumber. His golden eyes widened in worry as he put his hand against her cheek. She quickly stopped her thrashing and began to stir from her, now, rough sleep. Every once in a while, Rin would have nightmares of Naraku or the wolves that killed her the first time.

"Sesshomaru-sama?" she asked as her chocolate eyes opened and a small smile coated his lips.

"Rin, what were you dreaming?"

"The wolves, then Naraku. He came for me..." her voice trailed off as tears came to her eyes. Sesshomaru sighed as she put her hands to her face to hide her tears from him.

"Rin," he called out in the softest voice but she didn't raise her head. "Rin, look at me."

She pulled away her hands but continued to look away and wiped at her eyes with the palms of her hands. "Gomen na sai, mate," she said quietly, and he pulled her chin up to meet his gaze.

"I will never let anyone hurt you. You are mine, Rin. Forever mine," he said with a serious tone, and she gasped before a beautiful smile broke out on to her face.

"As you are forever mine, Sesshomaru-sama," she replied back and leaned forward to kiss him.

OpheliaJones: This story took a different kind of spin on the "normal girl lives with definitely not normal guy" plot. The plot points of Frey's father, Liam's family, and Frey's view of Liam's world were good to read. She did not fall in love with him in the first couple weeks. Their lives were not smooth in ...

263Adder: Okay so I adore this story. I only knocked one star off plot for historical inaccuracies because I'm a bit of a stickler for that. The ending broke my heart though, considering you already changed history couldn't you (SPOILER) change it a bit more and have them together!!!! I want an alternative...

Lauren Sanby: This is an excellent story. Very gripping and keeps your attention throughout. Hoping the author is writing a sequel because I'd love to read more about Rhi and Andreas and find out what else Rhi is able to do with her powers.

annie08c: I really like this story, I can relate to it a lot and with how she feels, the boyfriend and the events that happened but I'm a little bit younger. It was really good plot, really liked how you stuck to the topic and you had a new title for every chapter making me guess what's going to happen. Ma...

Shreya Biswas: Finally god...... I was tired of Charissa doubting Frederick's love... yes.. All's well that ends well.... i was getting really downright agitated at the author because the suspense was held really well on how things will work out in the epilogue and i just wanted them to have a happy ending.. An...

Alex Rushmer: This was not what I expected, but I enjoyed it a lot Malfoy was always one of the characters that I liked a lot, so I like that a lot of this happens between him and Colette. I read the first couple chapters, and I enjoyed your writing style and am excited to see where you take this story. My com...

Laraine Smith: Your story is both sweet and beautiful! You are a true artist! Keep up the great work! I also love the picture that you chose for your book! :)

Althea Kerr: This is a tale that is all too familiar to South African readers having lived through a war era on our borders and beyond. It is obviously autobiographical as the mind under duress is so detailed and real. It has fantastic suspense if a bit disjointed - perhaps that is the fear and loneliness com...

Giuliana Cassetta: My face is full of tears, I never cried like now with a book or even a movie. I loved every single chapter. I truly don't know what to say, I'm out of words and my eyes hurt from crying. Such an bittersweet story, it's so wonderful. One of my favorites for sure. Keep it up!

maewilde25: I am so in love with this story!!! captivated me till the very end, there wasn't a dull moment. Didn't particularly enjoy the lay out and some bits of info was missing along with how a 21 year old man amassed so much wealth that needed to be explained other than that and a few spelling errors, th...

maewilde25: I liked this, though it dragged on for over 200pages and heaven knows I did not expect the plot twist in the middle. David being Cristiãn.
