Everything was so perfect for you. A nice apartment, a decent paying job, and a cute cat. It seemed like you had it all. A perfect life, with the perfect boyfriend. It was truly love at first sight. Happy all the time... Sunshine and rainbows at first glance. Right? Like it was some fairytale, covered with sugar and cherries.

But you were wrong. Absolutely wrong.

Real life wasn't like that. It didn't give a shit if you were ecstatic, or a complete sobbing mess on the floor. It went on with, or without you.

Nothing in your life was easy. Or perfect. That was a total bold faced lie. Your life wasn't wonderfully fleeting, or blooming like roses on a sunny afternoon-- It was HELL.

And this is your story...

To first start off, Park Jimin was your boyfriend. As you begun dating, he wasn't all that bad. A bit quiet and reserved, but he would never hurt a fly. He was the type to hold the doors open for you, carry your bags if they became to heavy for you to handle, or give you a back massage after a long day of being on your feet at work.

He would lay pieces of chocolate on your pillow every night before he went to work, he would buy you gifts and take you out on dates.

For the first part of your relationship, everything was fine. He would NEVER be the type to harm even a single hair on your head. Or, so you thought.

One day out of the blue, he wasn't acting like himself. The Park Jimin you knew and loved. He started to behave differently with you. At first, it wasn't noticeable. At first, you brushed it off and thought it was nothing. But he flew off the handle.

He was a literal nightmare to be around.

He fell into drinking, being gone until the wee hours of the night. He was staying out at night for long periods of time. You thought he also might be delving into drugs, but you couldn't really prove it.

You couldn't even bring up the subject with him. You couldn't ask about it. You weren't allowed to. Either he would yell at you or slapped you for being defiant. Part of you wonders what the hell happened to the man you loved. You were fucked up enough to believe he would change.

You stayed with him, because you loved him dearly and at one moment in time, he loved you back.

You still kept the first gift you ever received from him. An adorable silver charm bracelet he made that had your anniversary date on it, with your initials. During that moment in particular, you thought that you couldn't have received a better, cuter ass gift. Your lips curled up in a small, weak smile as you recalled the memory in your mind.

[FLASHBACK]

"Hey Y/N, can you come here a sec?" Jimin called out to you from the bedroom. You were in the bathroom down the hall, applying makeup to get ready for a date you two were about to go on.

"Oh, what is it? I'm kind of busy, babe." You called back to him, putting on your face powder.

"Just come here." He laughed, still insisting. You roll your eyes and shake your head jokingly. You decided to cease your activities and enter the bedroom to see what he wanted.

"Yes Jimin, what's up?" You walk over to him. He was huddled over the vanity. You raise your eyebrows in curiosity as he quickly turned around, hiding something behind his back. He was grinning from ear to ear.

"What's going on, why are you smiling like that?" You giggle, nuzzling closer to him. You leaned up on your tippy toes to give him a kiss. You felt him smile wider as he wrapped his free arm around your waist and kept the other behind him. He kissed you back and pulled away.

"Hmm... Well, since it's our three month anniversary, and since we are going on our special little date, I wanted to get you a little something." He beamed, giving you that cute eyes smile you loved so much about him. You pout and step backwards, crossing your arms.

"Jimin! You're always buying me things. I've told you that you don't need to be doing that."

He bit his bottom lip softly which just erupted butterflies in your stomach. "I know, but I love spoiling you. I'm the boyfriend. I can do these things for you." He laughed that signature, Jimin laugh and pulled out whatever it was, from behind his back. You look down at it, seeing him holding a long, slender silver box. Your eyes widened and snapped back up to his. "Jimin, what did y-"

He waved his hand dismissively in the air. "Hey, now. I haven't even opened the box yet. If you get this excited over seeing a damn box, I don't think I want to know how excited you'll be about what's inside." He teased you, while smirking.

You scoff and playfully slap his arm. You dramatically pretend to be hurt. "Jimin! How rude!" You laugh, and he followed right behind.

[Y/N's P.O.V.]

"I was only kidding, Y/N. Open it." He smiled gently and handed the box over. I took it from his hands and looked it over. It was a simple and plain sparkly box that had a pastel blue ribbon tied around it. My favorite color. I looked at him and back down at it. Slowly, I unraveled the ribbon and lifted the lid off, putting it underneath the bottom.

What I saw on the inside, was just as beautiful as the outside.

It was a slim, silver bracelet. Thin, dainty, but gorgeous. It held one lone charm in the middle with a fire opal at its center. On the other side, it had a small silver plaque. It was engraved. Tears welled up in my eyes as they threatened to spill over. I didn't know what to say as I read allowed what was written:

"You are my forever." 04-01-2015

Along with our names. I sniffled, not being able to contain the emotions I had building up inside me.

"J-Jimin..." I choked out. He pulled me close to him as he saw that I was starting to cry. He held me and left a small kiss upon my forehead. "Shh, baby. Don't cry. Does this mean you like it?" He asked me in a soft tone, giving my arm a gentle squeeze.

"Jimin, I-I don't like it... I LOVE it!" I giggled, jumping up and down with pure excitement. He chuckled as he was amused by my playful nature. "Good, I'm glad. Do you mind if I put it on you?" He smiled, taking my hand in his. I turn my head to meet his gaze. His eyes were honestly hypnotizing. They sparkled with love and adoration for me.

It was a shame that I couldn't predict what would happen in the future. That was where my deception lie. If only I had been able to see what was right in front of me. I was naive for thinking he actually meant forever. But instead, I went on... Oblivious to his subtle changes. To his...

To his mind games. I did nothing. Since I loved him, I played along. "Yes, babe. Please do!" I give him the bracelet and outstretched my wrist. He gently grasped my hand, so delicately. As if I were the most fragile doll and that I would disintegrate like crumbling sand under his touch.

"It would be my pleasure." He cooed, lifting the phenomenal piece of jewelry and clicking it closed around my left wrist. I smiled with a powerful love. A new love. A love so strong and so deep, it rivaled the lengths of the sea. Infinite and unwavering. It was at that point on, I spent the next two years of my life with him. I truly learned exactly the type of man he really was.

He was not the same, soft, sweet Jiminie I knew with the dirty blond hair...He was a black haired demon. The moment in which I truly discovered his true self and his descent into madness.
