Fall, Everything. Fall.

Summary

After a fire goes off in a Swedish secret laboratory located on the underground floor of a hospital housing cancer patients, a toxic drug is released into the Earth's atmosphere in its gas form and it attaches itself to the Ozone Layer. While scientists immediately start to do experiments and investigations, the military begin building safety bunkers for survival, and the rest of the world collapses into a state of blind panic. When the drug begins to take over the Earth, it is clear that the Old World cannot be saved. The New World rises from the rubble of the Old World, and those that inherit it strive to survive while fighting against the Infected and other enemies that lurk in the darkness.

Author's Note

Hello, and welcome to Fall, Everything. Fall., my new apocalyptic BTS fanfiction!

Before you begin reading, I would just like to say a few things, and please don’t skip because I’ll try to be quick, I promise.

So first of all, I’d like to apologise for the amount of times I’ve published and unpublished this story. I know I must have been a pain in the backside so I’m very sorry about that. I really should have edited it before I started publishing it the first time, and edited it properly when I realised my mistakes instead of taking the story down and putting it back up again multiple times -- so I’m sorry about that.

Moving on--

Fall, Everything. Fall. is not suitable for all audiences. It will contain death, murder, gore, and there may be some mature scenes. Mature language may be included, but I will block out one (or more) vowel(s) with an asterisk (*). A warning about which of these themes will appear in a chapter will be displayed at the top of the page, so please do not skip over it. Mature chapters will be marked with an asterisk (*).

The story is set in the modern day, and begins on the 27th of April 2019, however it is set in an apocalyptic version of Earth. There will be references to modern-day buildings, corporations, celebrities, technology, etc. in the story. The characters will have to face the hardships of survival in a land they no longer recognise as their own.

This story was inspired by a novel I read called The Road in which a man and a boy travel through the country in search of food and shelter. It is a 2006 novel written by American writer Cormac McCarthy, and it is set in a post-apocalyptic world that set off my imagination. I was also inspired by a Russian TV series called Vyzhit Posle in which eleven strangers find themselves stuck in a bunker while and epidemic spreads across the globe, and when they finally get out of the bunker they realise that they are responsible for the future of all mankind.

PLEASE NOTE, although I have taken inspiration from a TV series and a book, this plot of this story belongs entirely to me, and therefore all rights are reserved. This means that you cannot photocopy, record, republish, or use any other mechanical or electronic method to reproduce, redistribute or transmit this story elsewhere, unless you have permission from me.

If you have any questions about the story, or any suggestions, or requests, or if you wish to correct a mistake - please comment on the chapters and I will get back to you ASAP.

Thank you for reading, and I hope you enjoy!

sjdoss2017: Great story line. I was drawn to read more and more. However, the use of incorrect words from time was distracting. I found myself interjecting the correct word to make the dialog work. I do not like that there is not a link or title listed in order to allow the reader to continue to the next boo...
