This is a story of eight hard-working school idols, each representing Otonokizaka High School, Uranohoshi Girlsโ High School, and Nijigasaki High School. Here are these representatives.
Maki Nishikino - A first year-student at Otonokizaka High School. She is a talented pianist with a crystal clear voice.
Kotori Minami - A second-year student at Otonokizaka. She used to be known as a maid named Minalinsky while working in Akihabara. Like her name, Kotori has a voice that sounds like a tweeting bird.
Umi Sonoda - A second-year student alongside Kotori. She is a quite mature girl with a likewise mature voice and beautiful hair. As she is a skilled archer, Umi has precise aim.
Nico Yazawa - A third-year student at Otonokizaka High School. She is rather cocky but knows when to put on a smile and a cute persona on and off stage. Like her friend Ruby, she has a wide knowledge of idols.
Ruby Kurosawa - A first-year student at Uranohoshi Girlsโ High School. She loves idols as much as Nico but can be very shy when it comes to strangers. She has a passion for needlework and fashion, which makes her a perfect costume designer.
Yoshiko Tsushima - A first-year student alongside Ruby. She is a chuunibyou (a person who holds delusions of grandeur) and claims herself to be Yohane, a fallen angel. Despite her seemingly scary persona, Yoshiko is a kind girl. She also does live streaming in her free time, dressing up as her persona.
Kanan Matsuura - A third-year student at Uranohoshi Girlsโ High School. She is a kindhearted, calm, and collected individual, going with the flow no matter what. A skilled swimmer, she owns a diving shop back in Awashima, often going to aquariums as a substitute for diving.
Rina Tennoji - A first-year student at Nijigasaki High School. Since her face isnโt good at emoting, she draws expressions onto her notebook, which has been dubbed the Rina-Chan Board. She is great at technology and offers to create gadgets for her friends.
These eight idols have come to New York City to release a new promotional video (PV) to show off a new song. They will also tackle one of the greatest subjects one could write about: finding joy and light in a big city.
