"Nice job winning the art contest, Tara!" I said smiling brightly. Of course I was totally upset, were friends and we congratulate each other. Tara smiled, "You did good though." I grinned, "Wanna go get coffee to celebrate your victory?" I said wiggling my eyebrows. Tara nodded as we said our goodbyes to the rest of the group. Me and Tara were walking down the street when I asked, "Do you think it will be recommended on their website?" Tara thought about it then replied, "Maybe... I still think it was okay but it could have been better." We went silent. "Your's was way better anyhow." I giggled, "I wish." We continued walking until we made it to the coffee shop. As we opened the door the little bell above us, made a small
ding. We grabbed a seat as a little husky came strolling up to us and sat down. Tara smiled, "He likes us." I rolled my eyes. "If I wasn't here the dog would have ran away." Tara looked at me. "Grouchie-butt." I smiled as we continued to whisper to each other.
The door bell rang as the door opened. I gasped. "No." Tara looked over to the door. "I didn't expect to see my brother here today..." I tried to duck my head down to avoid him but ended up falling out of the the chair with a loud, "OOF." The whole cafe went quite. Tara bursted into laughter. "My gosh child." Tara laughed covering her mouth. I got up and dusted my pants off. "Well, I'm sorry." I said crossing my arms as I sat down again. "Hide." Tara whispered and I agreed. The last thing I needed right now was her brother to see me like this. I looked down at my phone when suddenly the chair beside me pulled back and someone sat down.
"CRAP."
