Prologue
It was never planned for Taehyung and Jungkook to fall for each other.
They were "best friends" through the public eyes, Jungkook was just considered a touchy person.
"You ready Jungkook?" Namjoon patted him on the back, they were about to have their performance at the finale to the world tour.
"Yeah, where's Tae?" Jungkook couldn't see his boyfriend anywhere.
"Just with Jimin he'll be over in a sec," Jungkook nodded, adjusting his makeup slightly and jacket.
Jimin and Taehyung walked over laughing at each other, in deep conversation over Jimin's secret crush on a kpop idol that Taehyung always teased him for.
"Hey Taetae," Jungkook showed his bunny smile, and waved huskily to gain attention.
"Kookie," Taehyung giggled, noticing how Jimin whispered a quiet, 'whipped,' in a playful manner.
Taehyung walked towards Jungkook, swaying his hips slightly and showing his legendary smile in the process.
Quickly, Jungkook opened his arms for the other to fall in between, which Taehyung accepted as he placed his arms on the other's shoulder, whilst Jungkook opted for his waist.
"Are you excited?" Taehyung skipped in his lover's embrace, he always had this spark when it came to performing, always loving the amazement on his fans faces.
"Yep," Jungkook was always slightly less enthusiastic about it, sure he loved singing and dancing, just got shy at times and hated how some of the fans became obsessive.
"What's wrong?" Taehyung asked, meeting his eyes, "speak to me please."
"It's nothing," Jungkook shrugged Taehyung off him, always becoming cold hearted in times like this.
"Stop shutting yourself out, I'm here you don't have to hide from me. I love you Jungkook, so much. Please. Please Jungkook talk to me," Taehyung begged, walking to face Jungkook in hope that he would say something.
"I've just been so tired lately," Jungkook sighed rubbing his head, feeling the migraine growing in his mind, "I can't remember the last time I had a good nights rest."
"Tonight, you can," Taehyung reassured, now placing a hand on Jungkook's bicep, "I'll hug you all night."
Jungkook couldn't hold the coldness anymore, smiling at the boy he loved the most.
"We need to go on guys," Yoongi reminded.
"We'll be a minute," Taehyung told as Yoongi left them to continue their conversation.
"We got this Kookie," Taehyung places a kiss on Jungkook's lips, "make me proud."
The performances were going well, the group dances being performed amazingly and the crowd going crazy at every moment.
Jungkook took every chance he could to glance at Taehyung, wink at him or have any sort of skin contact.
He'd tend to mouth, 'I love you,' a few times and smile widely, and Taehyung giggled all the time by it.
When it came to the solo performances, Jungkook stood at the side of the stage, hiding in the wings as he would watch Taehyung dance and sing. His voice soothing and a joy to hear.
Jungkook got sad when he noticed Taehyung not watching his solo performance, but knew there was a group performance after so he was probably getting ready for it.
In the last performance, Jungkook felt even sadder than before. He watched Jimin place his arms around Taehyung's waist and sway him around.
Jungkook always got told never to do actions like these with Taehyung on stage, most of big hit knew of the relationship and of the shippers.
Taekook is the biggest bts ship, so people thought it was real. But if confirmed, both Taehyung and Jungkook could get fined huge sums of money.
Big hit never thought of the vmin shippers, currently being more known than the Taekook shippers.
At the end of the performance Taehyung smiled at Jungkook, trying to hide the jealousy that he felt.
Then Taehyung walked over to him, knowing the timing of the lights and when they dimmed.
He counted through his mind. '3, 2, 1.' Then leaned in, to kiss Jungkook.
Jungkook hadn't even noticed Taehyung approach him and when he felt lips on his he became startled, jumping back from Taehyung making him frown.
They continued the dance and bid goodbye to the audience and left the stage.
"Taehyung why did you do that? We could of got caught," Jungkook felt angry all of the 'vmin' situation also brimming.
"You looked sad, I was trying to make you smile," Taehyung tugged at his shirt sleeves looking sad.
"Well you wanna know the reason why I was sad?" Taehyung gulped, Jungkook had never used this tone of voice on him, "Jimin had his hands all over you, and I had to watch you two doing things I want to do with you."
"Jimin is my best friend, I love you and only you," Jungkook had already stormed off, not catching the last phrase.
"Leave him be," Hoseok spoke, "he's just angry, he looked a bit disheartened after he didn't see you watch his solo performance."
"But I did, I watched it from the live stream whilst I was getting ready," Taehyung admitted.
"I guess he just wanted to see your face," Hoseok sadly smiled as he patted the other on the back.
Because that was just the way things were.
