Eddie woke up too something banging on his window.
They eventually stoped and looked at each other in shock as in what just happened

Eddie rushes over to his window and opened it to see the one and only Richie Tozier.
Richie it’s 5:00 in the morning,Eddie said as he looked at his watch
Well sorry,can I hang out here until it’s time for school,Richie said
Richie if my mom sees you she’ll have a cow!!!,Eddie said
