Act I
(Please note: I am aware the person as Blaise in this story and on that piece of fan art I used was not the actor that was Blaise in the story but he is another character in this fanfiction story and I have chosen the other actor because when I was younger I use to watch YouTube fanfiction story things and the person chose him for it for some reason IDK why but it was my introduction to the world of fanfiction but also didn’t want to be disrespectful to the original actor. Lastly, although Harry Potter has been an influence on me and my writing, J.K. Rowling has said some problematic things and it’s extremely disappointing, disgusting and at times confusing. I don’t agree with any of the negative and divisive things she has said. We should never think it is okay to sacrifice one group of people’s rights to make rights of another group of people better. Never ever insult anyone in order to get your point across. Equality is for everyone, you have to discuss respectfully to come to that and sometimes compromise for everyone’s good in order for us to have equality, and never ever take away the rights of one group of people to better another group of people's rights. Okay now on with the story).
After the war, everyone decides it’s best to go back to Hogwarts and finish their final year. Over the summer Pansy Parkinson made friends with Hermione Granger, Ginny Weasley, Luna Lovegood and Cho Chang after the events leading up to her wedding to Marcus Flint being called off. She has also no longer friends with the Slytherin princesses, the notorious Greengrass twins Astoria and Daphne who were the main contributors to Pansy wedding being called off. Ginny, however, is having problems of her own. She is engaged to Harry Potter and isn’t happy. Hermione Granger and Ronald Weasley’s relationship had ended when he was two-timing her with Lavender Brown. Most of Hogwarts has been re-built but the girls of Hogwarts will have to share dorms. On the Hogwarts express, in an age-old compartment sit Hermione Granger, Ginny Weasley, Pansy Parkinson, Cho Chang and Luna Lovegood.
“How were your summers?” Hermione asked with a bright smile and Pansy turned her head.
“Well, I had my marriage called off because my ex-fiancé slept with two girls but I did meet some new girls that are now my friends for life,” Pansy replied now giggling at the events of the summer, her friends giggled also before they all sighed in their seats.
“That summer started bad but at least it turned out good at the end,” Luna commented and Pansy smiled. Cho, however, shook her head.
“I still can’t believe he did that to you!” Pansy looked down at the floor and thought for a minute.
“In a way, I’m happy,” She admitted. Hermione looked at her in confusion.
“Why?” She asked tilting her head.
“I never really loved him, he is a jerk and I didn’t know him,” Pansy spoke the truth for Marcus Flint was a relative of hers.
“Shame your dad didn’t know,” Luna questioned and Pansy nodded. There was a small silence and Hermione spoke again.
“So who do you like now?” Her teenager side had come out as Pansy looked at her with a grin.
“Well I do like someone,” she said and giggled a little.
“Is it a Slytherin?” Cho asked and Pansy nodded.
“Uhh, if it’s Malfoy I’m going to vomit!” Hermione said with a cringe and her friends laughed. Even though she and her 7-year long tormenter were civil with each other she didn’t like him. Pansy pulled a face of disgust.
“No and eww! I never liked him and we were never together. Don’t get me wrong, we kissed once but it didn’t feel right” Luna nodded and asked.
“Is it one of the Zabinis?” Luna was referring to cousins Vincent and Blaise Zabini. The Italian stallions of Hogwarts. Slytherin princes and womanisers. Vincent wasn’t as notorious as his cousin but he was dating Christina Greengrass. Blaise, however, had already had sex with several of his servants and was dating Daphne Greengrass. He had a very flirtatious attitude to nearly every pretty girl he met, and that was a lot since he had been at Hogwarts for years but he was to return with his cousin he was close to. They both had become popular in Slytherin and the school. When Luna mentioned that name Ginny turned her attention to them. She was the only girl in their year that he had not shown interest in, not that it bothered her much but she was wanting to do something other than look out the window.
“It’s got to be Blaise,” Cho cringed.
“Blaise goes through women faster than underwear,” Pansy scoffed in reply. “I’ve met him myself he is, but I don’t like Blaise,” she replied shaking her head then smiled to herself. Hermione gasped.
“Vincent?!” She said and Pansy nodded. A few looks of disbelief were aimed at her since Vincent was in a relationship. Ginny tuned out since she thought her friend was foolish for going after someone like that. Luna picked up in that then spoke.
“What’s in your mind Gin?” She asked and Ginny looked at her.
“Ohh, nothing,” she replied lazily and Hermione frowned not convinced.
“Thinking about your engagement?” She questioned and Ginny nodded slowly.
“Yeah...remembering the time it was exciting to me and didn’t make me feel miserable,” Ginny said resting her face on her hand.
“Have you asked your dad if you can call it off?” Pansy questioned and Ginny shook her head.
“He’s the minister of magic for Britain now Pansy, I hardly saw him over the summer and what’s more he won’t say no unless there is someone else, that will only be someone I love,” Ginny explained then rubbed her forehead before Cho spoke.
“So basically you’re waiting for love?” She asked and Ginny nodded slowly.
“Yeah...” She said slowly, her friends all frowned.
“Has Harry said anything about calling it off?” Hermione asked and again Ginny just shook her head.
“I don’t think he’s bothered. Too busy being a celebrity,” she snorted.
“There must be something you can do?” Hermione suggested. Ginny shook her head again and got a bit emotional.
“No, I’m going to marry Harry Potter if I like it or not...” Ginny sighed truly feeling helpless.
