Ginny and Blaise both went pale as their best friends stared at them in disbelief and pure shock. Ginny looked to Blaise then to Hermione who was shaking her head.
“Hermione, I-” Ginny began but was cut off.
“NO!” Hermione yelled and ran up the stairs to her room.
“Hermione!” Ginny called and broke from Blaise to run after her friend, calling her name all the way. Blaise was slightly hurt at Ginny pulling away from him but he sighed understanding that she wanted to go to speak to her friend.
“Wow,” the voice of Draco said out loud. Blaise turned to Draco and looked at him hoping that he would understand. “Weasley huh?” Draco asked and Blaise sighed deeply again.
“Do you hate me for not telling you?” Blaise asked his friend who shook his head.
“I’m just surprised,” Draco replied. “What are you going to do about Daphne?” He asked Blaise and they both sat down in the lounge chairs lazily.
“I do not know. I do know that she’s a whore and I don’t care about her,” Blaise replied scratching his cheek and resting his head in his hand.
“I know that not everyone will accept us being together as well,” Blaise told Draco who nodded listening to his friend.
“I just want the best for you mate. And if you want to be with Weasley that’s fine. I hear she’s been through hell recently. She was going to be forced to marry Potter.” Draco stated and Blaise looked at his friend seriously before speaking.
“Don’t remind me about that. But he’s not going to steal her from me. He’ll have to find another girl and Ginny’s parents will have to accept we love each other.” Blaise said and stood up.
“What about the school?” Draco asked looking up at his Italian best friend.
“They’ll have to accept it as well,” Blaise replied confidently to Draco. He then turned and started to stride towards the door.
“Where are you going?” Draco called.
“To find Pansy,” Blaise called back and left the room. Why does he want to find Pansy? Was the question running through Draco’s mind as the large door shut behind Blaise.
