Adventure

The Machine

Bella and the Eds were in Edd's garage. Felice was standing next to Bella. Edd was working on a machine and was almost done.

"So, what are you building?" Eddy asked, becoming bored.

"If my calculations are correct," Edd began, "This machine should allow us to travel to alternate dimensions."

"Woah, way cool!" Ed said. Felice meowed in amazement.

"Really?" Bella asked, "That's amazing! When's it gonna be done?"

"I should be finished and moment now," Edd said, "Just a small tweak here, a twist there...complete!"

"I wanna try, I wanna try!" Ed said, bouncing.

"Calm down, Ed," Edd chuckled, "You'll test it in due time. Now, this here remote will allow us to travel back to this dimension so we don't get stuck."

"Ok ok, hurry up," Eddy said.

"We just stand on this platform," Edd said, pointing to a platform under what looked like a shower head, "And press this button."

He pointed at the red button.

"But Double D, in the movies you're never supposed to press the red button," Ed frowned.

"Don't worry Ed, this one's safe," Edd assured.

"So how do we pick what dimension we go to?" Eddy asked. Felice nodded.

"Well, that's one small problem," Edd said, "It's a bit random, but that does make it all the more fun."

"That does seem funner than just pick and choose," Bella said.

"So, would you guys like to test it out?" Edd asked.

"Ed first! Ed first!" Ed shouted, jumping onto the platform.

"Ed, wait for us!" Bella called as she, Edd, and Eddy stepped on. Ed quickly pressed the button, but not before Felice jumped on and they were all teleported.

dd1226: I love reading about other countries and I think this story about Cambodia after Polpot creates awareness of the tragedy that happened there and the actions of the U.N. to hold elections. The heroine of the story is easy to relate to, a modern, middleaged woman looking for an adventure, wanting t...

genlynne2379: I read the other review of this book and I must say that I disagree with it wholeheartedly. I do not believe the author put the apostrophes in the names just to be unique, but because the characters are supposedly of a different race than humans. They are Anmah. They should have different names a...

littlebunnypoopoos: Omg this was so amazing! The ending was a little bad and predictable. But otherwise, I need a second book or I'll die :D The character development was excellent and the whole romance, action, and suspense was superb

Charlie_8472: Recommended to me by a friend, I thought I'd give this a read. As a hobbyist blacksmith, the blurb certainly caught my attention. I found the sentence about them drinking, dancing and fighting a strange combination of activities, perhaps a reflection of the writer’s personality and humour. Howeve...

Dru83: This is perhaps my favorite part of the Olafson story just because it is here that were are introduced to his "gang". The characters are so diverse and complicated that each of them could just about spawn their own story. Eric's buddies are just so captivating and the plot just rolls along. Again...

ArgyrisMetaxas: Thrilling story which builds layer ontop of layer. A few mis spellings every few chapters. What I found special was that it took a modern day problem and took it to its logical conclusion and plays this realism with gritting precision. I'm always on edge ready to shout from adrenaline. This is gr...

Megan Loan: I've never before had the pleasure to read something so unique. It was so captivating, and so unexpected. I was surprised by the protagonist and the idea of a pizza shop becoming a post apocalyptic delivery system. Good plot and amazing story telling. There could have been many places for the st...

carla1234: I couldn't stop reading this book once I started! it was brilliant! I loved it and I would love to buy it. Although if you could make a more eye-catching synopsis, I would suggest you please do.I loved how everything came together in this novel. everyone, even people not involved in the main stor...

Giuliana Cassetta: My face is full of tears, I never cried like now with a book or even a movie. I loved every single chapter. I truly don't know what to say, I'm out of words and my eyes hurt from crying. Such an bittersweet story, it's so wonderful. One of my favorites for sure. Keep it up!

Dru83: This is the second or third time I've read this one and I just love it. It has just about everything you could ever want packed into one scifi story. It still has some parts that are a little rough in terms of grammar, punctuation, and word usage, but it's still an awesome story. I love how detai...

Alisha Banks: You have me hooked! I immediately upon finishing the first book had to start the second. It is a captivating story and I can't wait to finish the other two book! I will definitely be recommending this book to others to read!

Jessica Esa: With a tantalising end to the first chapter, the authour has given us a treat and a welcome addition to the fantasy adventure genre. To limit it to just such would be an injustice however, as this novel clearly draws on elements of historical fiction, fairy tale and horror. Simply, there's someth...

Jordi Roig Avellanet: The first one really took me up for a ride and surprised me really pleasently. This one, up until now, has been amazing too. The characters and their powers are very curious and I'd like to see where all this intense dark plotting goes. I hope it gets finished.

heavyreader: great scifi novels but needs a better spell checker (check auto-substitution level) and grammar checker!!! otherwise, ready for mass market publishing!!
