Chapter 1
It was just another day at Mystic Falls Highschool. Boring. Uneventful. Hey look! There’s Caroline Forbes making my life miserable. AGAIN. In most classes I liked to just let my brain wander.
It was a warm fall morning when my plane landed. I had just picked up my luggage from the bag claim.
“Oof” I had accidentally ran into someone while I was in my own little world and ended up on my butt.
“Sorry. I wasn’t paying attention,” I apologized.
“No, don’t worry about it,” the stranger replied. “It’s alright.”
I looked up to see who I had run into. He was handsome and really gorgeous. I could’ve looked at him all day. He was busy picking up my stuff while I just had my mouth open and watched.
“Um, thanks. You didn’t have to do that.”
“It’s alright,” he said, handing me my things. “I’m Stefan. Stefan Salvatore. I just moved in with my uncle, Zach. Would you mind showing me around?”
“Yeah! What class do you have next?” I asked.
“Uh, history. With Mr. Tanner.”
“I have him, too! Right this way.”
We didn’t even make it two steps before Caroline “Queen” Forbes pounced on Stefan.
“So, I hear you’re new around here. I’m Caroline! I would love to show you around, Stefan.”
Caroline has dibs on the new guy, girl war rules. Stefan looked at Caroline, who was in every possible way flirting with him, then looked at me, who couldn’t get away from her fast enough.
“Thanks, but I already asked her to show me around and I wouldn’t want to be rude.”
I couldn’t help but snicker so I stepped around Caroline and ducked into Mr. Tanner’s classroom before I laughed.
