I SIGHED AND hid in the Alley.

There was people everywhere crowding the street. I relaxed and leaned against the wall. My mom is gonna be mad at me if I stay out to late. Pshh as if I would run into a demon here.

Oh how wrong I was

I stayed in the same spot for a couple more minutes before my mom goes looking for me. I sighed and turned to leave, but stopped when I heard talking. I turned to see two men, and a woman. There was another man, but he seemed

Dangerous

I hid behind some trash and watched what happened. I dont know why I was eavesdropping, it wasn't my business, but maybe I wanted to know why there was a man wearing clothes that were wayy too expensive for my broke ass.

He said some things before sticking his finger in the girls head. Her mouth opened to scream, but he quickly closed it and said something close to her ear. The two other dudes got up and tried to throw a punch, but was blocked by a simple push. The two men flew backwards, making them crash into the wall.

He's he's a demon!

I covered my mouth to stop my scream, and my eyes watered.

His eyes turned a bright red, slightly glowing, and turned his head, facing me

"I know your behind there" he smirked

I stepped out from under the trash bags, shaking at his presence.

I made a mistake staying out a little longer, sorry mom and dad

He came closer to me, his breath hitting my ear. I shivered and looked down.

"Now tell me, why were you listening" he pulled my chin up, making me look straight at his blood red eyes.

"I-i don't know" I stuttered

"Since you don't know why, shouldn't I punish you~?" He narrowed his eyes at me.

My knees buckled and tears threaten to fall from my eyes

"How about I give you some of my blood, then you'll be spared and you can live your life" he got closer to me

What do I say? I can't leave mom and dad...

What do I do!?

"If you say no, then I'll kill you. What do you say?" He caressed my sweating face.

I gulped, "yes, please don't kill me!"

Tanjiro held his sister's hand, dragging her around the city.

There! I can smell him! Though he's far, but thats ok! I can still find him!

He pushed through the crowds, some of them yelling back at him. But he didn't care, he found the person who slaughtered his family.

I layed on the ground, everything was spinning...

I tried getting up, only to fall back down

I sighed and closed my eyes.

Everything is more different, like I can smell something good...

I forced myself to get up, and walked out of the alleyway, where I was met with an irresponsible smell.

It came from the people walking.

I stopped in my tracks, as I realized that I had smelled those people. But they smell so good, I can't help it.

And so I took off in the opposite direction of my house.

Tanjiro and nezuko stopped running, smelling another demon.

A boy who was the same height as him ran past him, not even saying an apology.

The smell..., It was coming from him.

Tanjiro turned around, only to find people walking around, smiles painted on their faces.

No! I must focus on the task right now!

Tanjiro looked forward and continued his search for Muzan Kibutsuji.

I must find something to eat, or else I'll go crazy!

I stopped at an udon stand, an old man was sitting there waiting for someone to come.

Maybe I could feed off of him...

No! That's bad, but I don't have much of a choice.

"Are you gonna order something or not!?" The old man snapped at me.

I growled and turned around, running back to the city.

The man grumbled and continued washing

The dishes.

I ran into the thick woods, desperate to find shelter in the dark.

I somehow ended up at the quiet parts of the city. Or some people would say the 'sleepy side of Asakusa'. It was kinda depressing to be honest.

It also happened to be where I live. I sighed wondering how in the world I gotten here, when I was on the other side of town. I found it strange, like I was going in slow motion as I ran.

I broke from my trance as I heard my mom yelling in the distance. Oh no.

"My poor baby! Where were you, we spent most of the night worrying about you!" My mom wrapped her arms around my body, to which I stiffened.

"I'm fine mom, and you don't have to worry about me all the time, I can handle it" I forced a smile at her.

I wonder how long I'll keep this up before she finds out...

She eventually let go of me and went back to bed. I sighed for what seemed like the billionth time, and layed on my bed. I couldn't sleep.

What's so bad about being a demon though? I have more power, I can move a bit quicker...but if I want to be stronger I would have to eat humans...

I could never eat a human! What am I thinking, why would being a demon won't be as bad! If only I went home early and ate dinner with them, I wouldn't be like this!

I got up from the creaky mattress, slipped my sandals on and snuk outside.

I need to get my mind off things
