• Chapter 1 •
Charli woke up with a start. She jumped out of bed, excitement pouring off her. She was going to LA! She had just reached 15 million followers on TikTok, and Thomas Petrou had invited her to the hype house in LA. She packed the last of her bags and ran downstairs to see her mom sitting at the counter with chocolate chip pancakes. “hi mom.” Charli says. “Hi honey. Are you excited to go to LA? When is your flight? 7:30?” Heidi, Charlis mom, says with excitement in her voice. It was currently 6 am and she was very entergetic. “Yes, and if I don’t get to the airport soon, I’ll be late.” Charli says hurriedly. “Ok honey, I hope you have an amazing time in LA!” mom says as Charli runs out the door, her light blue luggage trailing behind her.
Later That Day:As the plane lands, Charlis excitement rises. She was there, really, really there. When she gets off the plane, she sees Alex and Kouvr, standing near the airport Starbucks. “Hello Charli!” Kouvr says happily. “Hi Kouvr! Are you here to pick me up?” Charli says. “Yep! Are you ready to go? “The hype house it waiting for you!” Alex says. “Totally”, Charli says. “let’s head out.”
