The Story
Somewhere in Paris *
My head hurts. The whole room is spinning. I find it difficult even to concentrate.
“Why do I drink?” he asked himself.
“All I can feel is pain but not in my body. The pain lives inside my heart. Many said that I don’t have a heart.” he laughed at that thought “Maybe they are right. A monster doesn’t have a heart, neither a ghost, neither the phantom of the opera” he continued.
“I should really make a cup of tea” he shrugged as he was trying to get off the bed.
Empty bottles of wine were next to it. “Thank god I have wine. How can someone forget without wine?”
A very simple question that no one can easily answer.
As he was trying to pick up the bottles he fell again in the bed.
“Look what happened to the great Phantom of the Opera” he screamed delirious from the still existing alcohol in his system.
“I m just a ghost nor a composer, nor a genius; just a freak who leaves in the dark”
“Maybe I should not make tea. I prefer a bottle of wine for breakfast.”
****************
Meanwhile...
“Come on wake we are going to be late” Thalia said jumping up and down the bed. “Madame Giry will be outraged at us”
“Cruel woman, why don’t you let me sleep?” Nadine asked.
“Don’t forget today it is the day!” Thalia screamed happily...
“What?”
Thalia cleared her throat and said “Today Jason’s friend Thomas will come, and I think you two will look very adorable together”
“Come on Thalia you and Jason can do whatever you like. Can’t you just leave me alone?” asked Nadine with a sloppy look.
“I will introduce you to him; if you don’t like him that’s all right, but at least see him first” Thalia exclaimed.
“All right do whatever you want. I give up”
“So let’s make you more beautiful than you already are”
“I don’t think that is possible” Nadine said while laughing.
“I am so sorry my queen “Thalia answered bitingly.
And the girls started preparing for their first day laughing with their hearts.
*************
“What they are doing again to my opera those ballet rats,” he thought.
“Of course now that Charlotta is gone they are looking for a replacement; how foolish are they? Do they really believe that can someone replace Chr...”
“Do they really believe that they can replace her.”
