A New World

The English have already become close with Japan. It is 1703, four of the most powerful families at the time head on a ship to the foreign land known as Japan. This new land has just been “discovered” and some rich people are bursting in curiosity, wanting to know more. The British aboard the ship definitely see things they never have and meet people whom are so different from them. Four sons of each of the families; Alexander, George, William, and James, all come along on this journey. The Emperor’s youngest daughter had taken a liking to one of the boys, and the feelings were mutual. Soon after they step foot on this land, they realize some trouble stirring in the kingdom. These English families realize they shouldn’t have come, they should have let the first discoverers of Japan be the only ones around that time.

Nopichic19 : I like the story and the plot, I think they should have explored Maya’s home life and rejection a little more before she was able to move on. There are some sentences that aren’t structured right but not enough to cause confusion. Overall lovely story.
