Chapter 1 The Retired Assassin

We ran on the roof tops to catch up the ring leader of the Cold Wyverns being escorted in a black car. When we had to jump we used our Omni Gear to swing across the buildings with graphling wires. Finally when we've reached our destination. We got onto the rooftop of the main Cold Wyvern's base. Captain RavenHollow asked me, "So shall we go half and half, or do you want me to take care of the trash?"

"Go ahead and kill the others if you want to." I said, "You know me, I like to take my time."

"Of course, General CrimsonGhost." The 12 year old assassin went her own way into the building and so did I. I entered through a window where it's close to get to the office of the leader. Two men stand guard of the double wooden doors. I simply thrown knives at their necks as they died choking on their own blood. I entered the office and closed the doors behind me.

The man name Shane Igarashi was sitting at his desk, and he quickly brought out a gun. I threw a knife at his hand, but I did have to dodge a bullet. When he let go of the gun because of his bleeding hand. He said, "What the hell do you want?!"

"Nothing more than your death, Igarashi." I said as I reveal my hidden blades. I drag him out of the chair and toss him onto the floor. He shouted, "If you kill me my entire family will find you! They will show no mercy! They take away everything you care about!"

"That's funny." I said, "Assassins really have nothing to care about. Now where should I cut first?"

I looked at his body deciding where to start. Until finally I've made my decision. I said, "This is going to hurt a lot. So feel free to scream okay?"

After the kill I was looking through his desk while waiting for Captain RavenHollow. She finally came in as she looked at my bloody work. "You know it's scary how much effort you put into your assassinations." she said.

"Well my kills didn't start getting more creative until I was 13." I said, "When I was 10 my kills were way different.""Wasn't that before you join the Organization?"

"Yes I started early killing people. At age 13 I believe is when I earned the title for General. So you made sure everyone was taken care of RavenHollow?"

"Yeah they were pretty easy to get rid of. Then again I didn't really expected much since their business revolve around drugs."

Suddenly I came across a file that has the Riddler's name on it. Why does Shane have a file on a Gotham Villain? One of my favorite villains no less? When I took a look through the file there was nothing on anything if the Riddler bought something from the Cold Wyverns. It's pretty much the Riddler's entire background. I look through the drawers to see if there's more information about him. Nope there's only one file. Well I'm taking this then. "Let's head back, RavenHollow."

When we got back to headquarters I've made a decision. It's a decision that doesn't hurt me that much but it will hurt the Organization. I went into the office of the General of The Assassins, Murder. He greeted me kindly as he said, "Why hello CrimsonGhost. What can I do for you?"

"I'm turning in my resignation, Murder." I said, "I've decided to retire."

"Retire? You're only 17, I doubt you've finally had enough of killing. I'm 54 and I'm still on the job. Can you explain why you want to resign?"

"Because of him." I put Riddler's file on his desk as he took a look at it. "Riddler? Gotham's Riddler?"

"The same."

"Sorry but why are you resigning for him?"

"The Leader of the Cold Wyverns had this in his desk. I think the Igarashi family has plans for him. I thought if I retire for at least a little while I can figure out why."

"... I see, well I really don't approve of this, but it you feel you want to protect him from whatever it is I'll accept you resignation for now. But do please come back. You're one of our best assassins."

"Thank you, Murder. I will come back, it's just that I'm a fan for this villain."

"I understand. Good luck, General CrimsonGhost."I took the file and left.

"You're retiring?!" said RavenHollow who was shocked that I've told her, "What are you retiring for?! You were supposed to be my partner till the end! You're my master, my teacher!"

"Don't worry RavenHollow it won't be long anyway." I said, "I'll be back before you know it."

"Yeah but don't you like this guy?"

"Sorry?"

"You mention him a lot on your spare time. It sounded like you have a big crush on him."

"Well I admirer his work that's all. Anyway, I'll see ya later okay?"

"Okay, you better come back!"

"I will, promise."

Finally I was able to go home in Cincinnati. When I walk through the door the lights turned on and people jump out of nowhere to shout surprise. I swear I got startled, but I'm just glad no one was near me. I have this bad reflex when someone scares me I punch them in the stomach. "Happy Birthday Coraline!" shouted Mark as he gave me a big hug.

I've forgotten that today is my birthday, November 13th. I've been so busy killing people I've completely pushed my birthday asside. It's amazing that my friends and family here still wants to celebrate it with me. I'm now 18 years old. "About time you've showed up!" said Mark, "Come on everyone's hungry!"

"Gee it's great to see you too Mark. I see that you missed me."

"Are you kidding? I've been dying for you to come home.

"This is Mark Fischbach, I also call him Markiplier. I've been friends with him since we were 7. It was after my family and I moved from Portland that we've became friends. Of course it was at elementary school, but it was one hell of a meet up. I walked up to dad as I gave him a hug and said, "I need to talk to you after all this."
