The Return of the White Ranger

By Captain_Capitalist

Adventure / Action

Prologue

A cloaked figure approaches from the dark shadows of the mesa. His tattered cloaked trails underneath him, covering his figure. The cloaked figure raises his head and the only thing that is seen is his pair of glowing blood red eyes. He removes his tattered cloak to reveal a creature whose appearance is a cross between a mutated troll and a demon. His piercing red eyes search through the darkness.

He chants to himself as he pulls out an orb from his cloak. He tosses the orb into the Ocean. Then up erects a crystal Fortress. He looks amazed as all of these white crystals form a structure. He walks into it and picks up a white crystal.

The black ooze slithers up from the cracks and crawls across the ground as maggot like creatures combines into one puddle of goo. The goo then forms into a crimson humanoid figure.

As the warlock looked up, he saw his Emperor. Zedd flexed his crimson muscular-build and the silver exoskeleton gleamed in the moonlight. Smoke rises from his body. His red visor glowed from his visage.

A cobra slithers around Zedd's arms. As soon as he clutches the Cobra in his claws, a red glow emanates from the creature. It soon transforms into his metallic Z-Staff. He grips it in his claws. He holds up the Staff and thunder strikes the skies.

"Your Lordship," says the cloaked figure as he kneelt to the ground. "We have waited patiently for your return. What is thy bidding?"

"The destruction of the Power Rangers." Growls Zedd. "Then we shall finally conquer Earth."

John Smith: This is what Sci Fi is all about. Reads like early Heinlein. In the style of Space Cadets. No esoteric problems..but good ol blaster and space action with a host of relatable characters

Alisha Tabassum: The story was so beautiful and I absolutely loved it. The only problem is the grammar and spellings. Other than that, its perfect! I think it deserves a lot more views than it currently has. Honestly, I've never read anything like this before.

Diana123: This is a very intense and intriguing story. I love how it is mysterious and secretive and I have really enjoyed it. The moment when Kris meets Max and the way Elsa actually “introduces” him, by making Kris look at the picture on her iPad first is a scene that has stayed etched into my mind (amon...

Hawkebat: Playing both Kotor I & II and Swtor I found the story line interesting and it held me until chapter 35 Very good story and plot flow until then, very few technical errors. I felt that the main character was a bit under and over powered, as it fought for balance. The last few chapters felt too f...

rudyoxborough46: An action-packed, mystical adventure awaits anyone wishing to read this novel. I’m amazed at how well you’ve managed to flesh out the characters in this book, and I hope to read more of your work.I’ve read books about goblins and elves and all that mumbo-jumbo before, and most accounts of these c...

petew25: I have been reading WW2 novels for years and am a retired Marine pilot. Though the plot in some ways reminded me of the Gregory Peck classic leadership movie, "Twelve O'Clock High" I thought the author did a good job overall. The plot was believable and the characters were as well. In some places...

Erin Crowley: The concept here is really strong, but the execution is definitely lacking. Tenses, grammar, etc are all off, with at least one or more errors per 'Page' on my phone. The writing style is almost broken- sentences move into each other awkwardly, and are filled with an excess of "filler words", lik...

Theresa Alley: right from the start it is of the genre I love!! And it doesn't slow down from there!! I love that it kept me reading til I had no more story left to read!! I finished it in one day!! love this book!! looking forward to more from this author, if not about ASTA, more of the same style!! PLEASE!!!???

Dru83: This is perhaps my favorite part of the Olafson story just because it is here that were are introduced to his "gang". The characters are so diverse and complicated that each of them could just about spawn their own story. Eric's buddies are just so captivating and the plot just rolls along. Again...

Dina Husseini: It was a great hook. I do not like reading scifi because they end up being like all the rest but this one kept me wanting more.

Christopher Chew: Been a while since reading was this fun. The plot was easy to follow and built at a gradual but good pace. The dynamics between each character were interesting and kept things fresh and exciting, very much so that you would forgive it for not going deeper into the back stories of each character. ...

Giuliana Cassetta: My face is full of tears, I never cried like now with a book or even a movie. I loved every single chapter. I truly don't know what to say, I'm out of words and my eyes hurt from crying. Such an bittersweet story, it's so wonderful. One of my favorites for sure. Keep it up!

noelia herrera: I could not stop reading this book. it was truly great and it caught my attention quick. there was some misspelled words and some misplaced. but overall, IT WAS FANTASTIC! great job. I recommended this book to all my family and friends.
