Chapter 1

It was a warm summer evening at the seaside mountain of Salamandastron Boar the Fighter was hard at work forging new arms for the fighting hares of the long patrol. Suddenly a hare dashed into the room Bowleg stood to attention until Boar gave a nod signalling he could speak.

"Sire there's fighting on the beach" he said with a sharp salute.

"Searats eh?" the mighty badger lord hefted his massive sword over one shoulder as he tossed his apron aside.

"No sire its a human and his youngun" Bowleg replied as the badger dressed in his armour. "We helped em out as much as we could but there's too many sir"

Boar laughed "too many for you maybe but not for Boar the Fighter; Eulalia!" the last word was a deafening roar that shook the mountain fortress and echoed around the mountain Boar the Fighter was comming.

John Reed: Seadrias masterfully captures the impressiveness and complex scope that a science fiction novel should provide while carefully crafting an entire universe that will leave a reader in awe from start to finish. The only flaw I could find is that I wish I could have read more. This book is certainly...

Usagi Kita: This story is emotional from beginning to end. You get to watch the characters struggle and grow, maturing in different ways so that they come to be the people they are meant to be. Inea is insanely adorable, and his antics made me laugh more than once, and Kaedon is perfect for him in so many wa...

dd1226: I love reading about other countries and I think this story about Cambodia after Polpot creates awareness of the tragedy that happened there and the actions of the U.N. to hold elections. The heroine of the story is easy to relate to, a modern, middleaged woman looking for an adventure, wanting t...

summerstone: Seriously this is one of the best books I've ever read. The plot is intriguing, I love the narrative style. Its very descriptive and unique, with minimal cliches. Lacey Schmidt: The Trouble with Super is that you can't stop reading it. Mr. Barrett's characters are all to easy to relate to even if you don't have a super quirk of your own, and their plight is both heart-rendingly funny and heart-warmingly sad at the same time. It's a bit like Office Space meets the Matri...

Ro-Ange Olson: Loved it and couldn't put it down. I really hope there is a sequel. Well written and the plot really moves forward.

ernbelle: When I first started this story I was a little unsettled by all of the information that appears in the prologue, and wasn't sure if I would continue. However, I am very glad I did.
