The Human Within.

By MatteoAcioli

Thriller / Action

Does it Exist ?

Agent 47 was a lot of things, he was a very skilled killer, A clone, a product, a member from the Agency, the most skilled hitman, A very smart man, and he knew all of it, the only thing he had a doubt, was:

If he was all that, could he be considered a human? the Agency insisted that he wasn't, he could not feel any emotions, he did not like any type of relationship ( besides his with Diana, but that was not romantic in any way), He did not feel any pain, Fear, Empathy, Anger, Happiness, Sadness, Nothing.

He didn't have time to think about that now, however, he was doing a very dangerous infiltration mission, His mission was to kill the boss of a very large drug trafficking organisation in Venezuela.

This boss was a very cautious man, protected by dozens of bodyguards. hired by a security agency from the united states, and his own men, of course, The Security agents had more limited access than his personal men, a foolish act in 47's opinion, he didn't have any time to think about that, however, as he killed a member from the organisation.

Now using a disguise, 47 had time to scan the location, It was a very big house, three floors, two snipers outside, one in the roof and one in the second floor, no backdoors, only way of access was the front door, and he couldn't see anyone that would know the man he had just killed, so he walked in.

There were to Security Agents guarding the front door, both of them ignored him as he entered the mansion, in there he could see a large staircase that would lead him to the second floor, it seemed that the only ones who had access to the third floor were the target and his most trusted man.

That would be a problem, He entered an empty room on the first floor and sat on a chair, thinking about the mission debriefing.

"Hello 47, good to have you back, your target, this time, around is Antonio Martinez, Leader of the Red Berettas, a Drug trafficking organisation that was created on the united states, however now operates on Venezuela, Our client was almost killed by the man, and requested a clean and quick death, The target always stays on the third floor of his mansion, he never leaves, and only lets the members of his inner circle in, All of the members are already on the Mansion, Except a Rodrigo Braga, who will arrive later on, during the night of the day you will be deployed."

47 looked at his watch, 3:38 Pm, More 3 hours before Nightfall, That meant he had 3 hours to look around the mansion and see if he could find any suitable place to put a trap or a member from the inner circle who got lost, he put an alarm and walked out of the room.

Alex Reltin: This is a great story! I love how well you go into detail and emotions of Capri, and Mel. You have amazing dialogue and overall it's just a thrill to read! The only critique I could find is that some of the paragraphs should be separated. Warchief: The biggest problem with the Harry Potter series is that it's all from his point of view. So we never really get to see or understand events from other peoples perspective. I think that they would be more than a few people that want to know what happened at Hogwarts during that last year.As far a...

Ben Gauger: Kudos to Bryan Laesch, author of Remnants of Chaos:Chaotic Omens for his use of the Gothic style of writing and in addition the footnotes and endnotes at the end of each chapter, a welcome accompaniment to be sure, though his use of grammar could use a little improving, but his use of punctuation...
