Romance / Adventure

The Beginning

Erza looked at the cube in front of him, concentrating hard trying to open it with the force. He's done it before with Kannan's, and he hadn't even tried or wanted to open it. This one was different, it was one he found long ago before he meet the Rebels, and now that he knew he had it in him, he was gonna open it no matter what.

He closed his eyes focusing on the wind, even in the air there was the force surrounding him. He focused hard on one point, near the cube.

Click

Erza concentrated harder, he could do this, he could do this!

Click click click fwom

He could see in his mind the cube breaking apart, till finally a hologrom stood above it. As the cube turned on, a small, green figure holding a cane began to form. Erza opened his eyes as the figure spoke.

"Hello Erza, you may not know me no?"

Erza shook his head as he stared at the small man, how could he? The little, green man chuckled and continued.

"I'm sure we haven't but if you must know I am Master Yoda, former leader of the Jedi council."

Erza gasped, he remembered hearing stories of these Jedi but how?

"I have a mission for you Erza, and you alone must find on Tationne, there a great power is within the force you must find before the Sith do. Sidous, is already on the move you must find the source before it's too late. May the force be with you."

With that the hologram turned off, and the cube turned back to normal. Erza sighed, trying to take all in as he stared hard at where Yoda had stood.

He frowned, this could just be a wild goose chase he shouldn't go and yet....

Ezra felt something as soon as that hologram came on, he didn't know why but he had to go, and do this, now.

Erza got up knowing he first had to get past the others. But how he wondered, that's when he heard Zeb shouting at him as he knocked on the door.

"Kid we're at Naboo come on! Can't keep Kanan waiting!" When Erza heard Zeb leave he knew he could go to Tatoonie now.

Kanan explained earlier of how he's gotten a new mission from a administer on Naboo and was going to meet him when they came to Naboo.

With the others going with him Erza was able to go to Tatoonie in no time.

He walked out of the Ghost(the ship), Hera said she put a lock on the ship keep Chopper looking after the it.

Now Erza looked around as he set foot on the ground seeing Naboo for the first time and gasped.
All around him were vast green valley's surrounded the beautiful city of Naboo, white pillars surrounded the tall crystal colored buildings and as Erza saw nearby was a couple of ships.
Just then a young man walked over to one and ignited the engine lifting off. Erza saw he had a key with him before as he flew off, that wouldn't be a problem, after all he was a pick pocketer.

Erza caught up with the gang as they walked into the city.
As they walked on, crowds surrounded them as they all tried to walk by, he smiled this was a perfect moment to pick pocket. He keep his expression stone like as he reached from behind as he walked from a man.
As he gripped onto the key and smirked putting it in his pocket. He then looked as the others where walking farther away from him and as they disappeared into the crowds he took off back to the ships.
Quickly using his stealth, he watched as some imperial troops came over to each of the men like as Ezra saw before telling them to hold out their I.D and key.
He sighed, so much for a easy hijack. He shook his head, it didn't matter after all he could use the force, he's been practicing unlike Kanan, not teaching him yet.

He closed his eyes as he focused on the ID of a man in the middle of the line.

Concentrate Ezra, almost...got it!

He opened his eyes to see the ID in his hand as he quickly looked at it.

Skipping the info of the man he looked down at the bottom to see the ship he was taking today, ship 20.

Ezra clenched his fist as he out the ID back in the man's pocket before running off to the ship, surprisingly it wasn't far, it was in front of him.

The ship is a little rusty, Ezra though, but it'll do. He quickly ducked under the ship, two troopers walked past and when he was sure they left he got up and entered the ship in the back entrance.

"Ok let's see what this baby can do."

Ezra quickly dropped down as a couple of troopers walked past the ship, knowing he didn't have much time he quickly hijacked the engine and got it started feeling the heat of the engines as he took off, Tatoonie here I come.

Kanan's POV

I'm a little worried of Ezra.

Ever since we rescued the Wookies he seemed a little off.
I remember seeing pain in his eyes as he saw the Wookies reunite with one another. I mean he still jokes around but I can see no joke in his eyes that's for sure. I shook my head, no forget that focus on the mission.

The mission was simple, get a alliance with the Naboo council and negotiate a secret trade between us so we don't have to bargain with thugs for the money we need for supplies.
Easier said then done, I watched as some imperial troopers walked by, gun in their hands as they pasted us. From the look of the ambassador, Naboo was in deep trouble with the Sith.

I remember hearing of the Sith Lord wanting a high guard on Naboo, said it was a most common place Jedi would gather in. Since the Sith didn't kill all the Jedi I can see why for sure, better keep my guard up.

I felt Hera come over to me as we were about to enter the court room. It was huge, glistening in the sun like other buildings of pure white tiles.

"Ezra's not here." She whispered in my ear as she walked past along with Zeb and Sabine. I sighed, this can't be good. I though,

He might as well have run off so long as he doesn't cause too much trouble that is.

Oh wait...

The wind blew in my face as I turned to see a Naboo ship fly off, and I saw at the wheel was Ezra.

I looked him in the eyes as he turned to me, I could see the pain yet again in his eyes, yet as I saw something more.

Before I could find out he took off leaving troopers below shooting above only to miss, he was already out of range.

I sighed.

Yep knew he get in trouble sooner or later great now what?

<5 hours after the secret meeting in the Naboo Court>

"Are you kidding me?!" Sabine shouted as I explained to everyone as we were back on the ship.
The meeting had gone well, better then I though now knowing that the Naboo council will help when we need it.

Now our focus was Ezra.

"Where could he have gone Kanan? For all we know he could have left us, a traitor for sure probably on his way to the empire for all we know of." I turned to Hera and Zeb, Hera was flying the ship into hyperspace, her eyes in the sky but I knew she was listening as she cringed on the word traitor. Zeb was worst, I knew he'd gone close to Ezra, even if he didn't admit it as he frowned looking at the floor.

"Look Sabine we don't know that for sure, maybe he wrote a message to us in his room."

"Yeah a message saying, 'Going to the empire see ya suckers!'" I sighed as I got up and left for Ezra's room leaving Hera and Zeb to that ongoing blabbermouth.

I used my key to enter his room, or what's left of it. Apparently Ezra didn't have much back on Lothal, speaking of not having much except a thin blanket, a black trooper helmet, and a couple of coins I'm guessing from trade in the black market.

I sat down on his bed and felt something under the blanket to see a faint picture of a family of three.
Ezra, whom I assume was three along with his parents in the background.
His father looked most like Ezra with his tan skin and blue hair, and his mom well she looked a little like Ezra with his same blue eyes and all but had long brown hair but they all were wearing rags, hold on.....

I could see the picture was blurry due to what I saw was a sandstorm, in the back were white, small huts looking like the house was peeling like a orange.

At that moment I knew Ezra didn't leave to the Sith, he left for Tationne.
