Hermione Meets the Weasley Twins

By Frankie09

Fantasy / Romance

Chapter 1

The moment Hermione entered Diagon Alley, she knew her life would never be the same – for better or for worse, she had yet to determine. She could feel a tug pulling her towards the book store, Flourish & Blotts she thinks it's called. Hermione loves books and learning, so much so she has yet at the age of eleven to learn to make friends. This tug however, was not leading to the books inside the store, but the family of red heads browsing them.

She is astonished at the variety of shades of red the family sports and a wide grin spreads across her face at the obvious love the family has for each other. Hermione is an only child and her parents are kind but rather distant, as if they aren't quite sure what to do with a child, much less a precocious one. She has always longed for a sense of family, and she feels like she's finally come home as she gazes at the red headed group.

She turns to explore the bookshop and unobtrusively eavesdrop on the family, hoping to learn more about them. Hermione didn't expect to run straight into a pair of identical grins beaming down at her from a set of twins just a couple years older than her. She felt dizzy as a sensation of being hit by a locomotive slammed into her. Her breath caught, her knees went weak and she started to slide to the floor.

The matching grins instantly changed to concern as the boys immediately lunged forward to catch the fainting girl. They had felt the same tug and were drawn to the aisle she was lingering in and were instantly smitten when they peered down at the tiny girl with a mass of curly hair and deep brown eyes. The moment their hands touched the bare skin of the petite witch fainting before them, they knew – they had found their soul mate.

SandraHan1: This story is very descriptive, with vivid scenes from the very beginning, which made for a good scene setting. I love the symbolism in names, such as “Naysayers”, “Hadd”, etc . The story itself is revolutionary, intriguing, emotional and exciting. I was very pleased to see that there is a happy ...

zoheusher20: What more can I say? The writing style and little details drew me into the book and for the entirety of the story I was Juliet. I felt her turmoil and emotions and every trouble or triumph as they arrived. This story was very different and had quite a few little but unexpected twists that made it...

Marijana1: The melancholy present throughout this story has the power to influence and etch into the minds of the readers, to stay there and refuse to leave even after they have finished reading the story. This is a deep, powerful story, making the readers wonder about everything – about love, about their e...

Ilanea Zavala: I loved it and well I really hope you continue writing more to the story.

Drew C. Elyon: I've only read one chapter so far, but from what I've seen, this is steampunk at its best. The narrative flows so beautifully I could envision every scene in an almost cinematic fashion. I believe in the complexity of simplicity, and this story has that in its descriptions.

N_F_G: This story was fantastic! It was really enjoyable, and the characters and locations felt real to me as I read the story! Celeste was an amazing character, who survived all her struggles, and I felt the author did an excellent job writing about suicide and self harm- in a sensitive, authentic mann...

William Elliott Kern: Long story, the plot uncovered midway through the story. From beginning, the story was fast moving. Then dragged on for quite some time. The Author was good in describing her characters, their clothing, etc. but a lot of that disclosure distracted from the story moving fast. Not withstanding, the...

Diana Chernenko: I liked this book. Even if the idea of book isn't so new. "girl that should save the world with her super powers." sometimes I thought that she is too overpowered, and I was sometimes really annoyed by her, and felt sorry for her friends and Derek. Moreover I didn't like first chapters when the...

Lauren Kabanyana: It's simply amazing, the story is touching and has you captivated while reading! I loved it! Would read it over and over again.
