The Blindfold

Romance

the Blindfold

Draco was having a good day. He played Quddich, finished his potions project, and went to defense against the dark arts. Harry had been busy with the DA meetings lately. Once Draco found out that Harry was the one leading the DA he stopped helping Umbrage. He didn't want to get into a fight with Harry about it, he also didn't want Umbrage to hurt the person he loved more than she already had.

Draco was thinking about how he and Harry hadn't spent a lot of time together lately. All of a sudden Draco's vision went dark, his instincts took over and he started to fight against the person holding the thing around his eyes. Draco reached for his wand when someone whispered into his ear.

"It's me dummy, just relax, I wanted to spend some time with you" Draco instantly calmed; it was just Harry, just the love of his life. Draco was not shocked that Harry snuck up behind him but it wasn't really his style. Harry normally waited for Draco to pass an empty class room or broom closet and pull him into it then they make out for a good fifteen to thirty minutes. Draco still caught up in the moment and fueled by curiosity, followed Harry up and down stairs, corridors, and threw hidden passageways. Draco was lost by the third turn but let his boyfriend lead the way until they came to an abrupt stop.

Harry let go of Draco's hand a walked to some distance away, Draco could hear Harry pass him a total of three times. 'The Room of Requirement, He really is pulling out all the stops.' Draco thought this to himself as Harry made his way back to Draco. Draco had heard a lot about the room from Harry but never been there himself although Harry had promised to take him sometime, that time must be now. A hand grabbed Draco's and pulled him into an even darker room than before. What little light Draco used to have was now jut pitch black.

Lips meet Draco’s, they were soft and powerful, they seemed familiar, but if he was with Harry where was he spark he always felt when they kissed? Draco got the feeling this was not his Harry. Did someone hurt Harry just so they could kiss Draco or had the person he thought was Harry really an imposter from the start? The voice could easily be mimicked by a charm so he had to check if their face felt the same. He reached up a hand and placed it on his cheek, his fingers ran over glasses them seeming very strange felt their forehead, yep scar to. So what did that mean Polyjuice potion? Why go through so much just to get to him? Draco had to make sure that this was his Harry.

"Harry wait," Draco broke the kiss "Can I ask you a question?"

"Of course, what is it Draco, is something wrong?"

"I was just wondering, if you could tell me about the first time you knew you loved me?" this was all old information to Draco of course but he had to figure out who this person was too.

"I’d have to say it was the first time I saw you on platform 9'3/4. You were so beautiful I couldn't keep my eyes off you." this was not Harry! Last year when Draco asked this question for the first time Harry had told him it was when he had gotten attacked by the Hippogriff. Harry had explained that when he was hurt he wanted to run and protect him, he wanted to make sure Draco was ok. Harry even admitted to being angry at the beast at first but at the time put it off as Draco's fault, which it was. He was stupid to insult the animal and got injured because of it. He however never wanted the Hippogriff killed, that was all his farther.

The fact that the person front of him did not know this confirmed his suspicion. In order to know if Draco had a shot of getting out of that room unscathed he had to know who he was with. He decided to keep the person talking as he tried to figure it out. How much did this person know?

"Harry, do you know why I broke up with pansy?"

"Why are you asking so many questions?" Draco was stumped he had to think of something.

"I just want to see how much you know about me? So I can tell you what you don't know". 'Really Draco that’s all you can come up with they'll defiantly suspect that you know now!' However the imposter spat out what they thought happened or what the rumors told them. The real Harry knew this already; he knew that it was because pansy told Draco that she was in love with Blaze and that Draco had confessed to her that he was gay. The imposter was starting to freak Draco out, that and they were starting to undo his shirt buttons. Draco struggled with the person holding him in place; he started reaching for hiss wand when it flew out of his pocket. 'Silent spells?! Just who is this person?' Draco thought to himself. He was defenseless and freaking out.

"Harry! Stop, please."

"What’s wrong Draco?"

"I just remembered I have a privet lesson with Snape. I have to go or I'll be in deep shit". Draco just tried to turn and get out of the room but was stopped by the hands that still had his shirt.

"You don't want to spend time with me?"

"Of course I want to spend time with you, just at this moment I didn't want to get my ass handed to me by Snape". The imposter keeps a firm grip on his clothing. 'Damn, this person is strong. Who the hell is this person?'

Draco decided to just run for it and get help ripping his shirt out of his captor’s hands he threw off the blindfold and made a dash to the door. When he turned around however there was no door. Draco swore he hadn't turned when in the room but just to make sure he glanced all around himself, no doors, not one. His eyes continued to glance around when his gaze fell on the face of his boyfriends, but Draco new that those green eyes were not the real eyes that he loved so dearly. He had to figure out who this person was, he had to get out of here, but most importantly he had to find the real Harry, his Harry.
