Observance

He memorized all her paw-prints

Patterns on the Savannah

No fate to stop her

And he watched

And he watched

Delight become a cloud

The world went free of spectators

And she watched

And he watched

Sunlight clutch her fur

For a moment, he lived

For a moment, alive

She held her head through his presence

Shadow of the Savannah

No love to stop him

And she watched

And he watched

Caution rain in torrents

The world went free of certainty

And she watched

And she watched

Motion clutch his limbs

For a moment, she feared

For a moment, afraid

They grew in decay and distance

Along with the Savannah

No one to stop them

And they watched

And they watched

Sanity shrivel up

The world went free of compromise

And he watched

And she watched

Fury clutch his paw

For a moment, they knew

For a moment ended

As one descends into depression the other must find ways to cope with watching their loved one suffer. This is a heartbreaking struggle that I hav...

Castro Ohana: This book is a great read. I can't wait for the next one (I hope there is another). Like my title I could not put it down! It has just the right amount of drama, actions and wow moments. I also love it when the person you least expected becomes the hero. A few grammar errors but overall a great...

ernbelle: When I first started this story I was a little unsettled by all of the information that appears in the prologue, and wasn't sure if I would continue. However, I am very glad I did. Pilleip: This has been a bit different genre from what I usually read but a real delight. I like the vamps being different from cliche. I like the intriguing and unpredictable plot and the quirky characters. The only complaint I have is that I want to read more but the book run out. I hope there's going t...

romboili000: As I read this book it made me realize the importance of trusting big God. And believing that you can love even when it feels impossible. This story definitely has made me what to become a better person in Christ and just life. So thank you that's all I have to say because you wrote this story so...

Pilleip: I did not like that they were stupid enough to let the heartache to go on for so long. Life is funny that way though - it is just too similar to me... I'm trying to grab my chance. Of course it is easier to see a solution to other peoples problems than my own. I do adore the fact that they do gro...

Hudson: Your story was fantastic Erin! The Rising Sun was one of the first stories I read on Inkitt, and I have to say I don't regret the three to four days I spent pouring through the story.Probably the biggest strength I see in your writing is your characterisation of Eliana, Oriens, and the rest of th...

PaulSenkel: If you like Arthur C. Clarke's Odyssey, especially The Final Odyssey, then you will probably also enjoy this book. I definitely did.It does, however, address a more adolescent public than the above-mentioned book.I enjoyed the story and finished it in a few days. The overall situation on earth an...

star_powered: Off Pitch is a fun and sexy lesbian romance filled with incredible humour (one of the few stories that has ever made me laugh out loud), heart-wrenching drama, and lots of fluff. The story respects and normalizes the wlw experience and doesn't resort to victimizing the main characters for plot de...

JenniferParks: This story is very progressive. I like the main characters so far ( i am on chapter 5) and i am hoping to read more chapters. The writing, style, plot and everything is so far so good, i can really understand and read the story very well. The story really sticks to its themes and its target audi...
