Romance

chapter 1

It's been six years since the battle ended. Zatch's departure was not that easy for Kiyo to cope with. Megumi was the one who helped him recover from the darkness of void emotions and depressions that once Zatch did for him. Kiyo last met her when his second year of high school was continuing. Then no touch, no contact, nothing. He really did have feelings for her, but ne'er spoke of. He had always wanted to lean in for a blissful kiss that ne'er happened, and then time took them far apart from each other.

Now, he is 20 and is a student at University. He was not a teenager any-more but the teenage love still exists in his heart. The very girl in his mind was Megumi. There were many girls in his surroundings. Even his best friend was a girl -Suzy Mizuno. But ne'er felt that way for any girl the way he felt for Megumi.

The raven-haired genius was on his way flying to England. His mom had shifted to England too. He was going to visit his parents."Why am I thinking of Megumi after so many years?" He asked himself. But he was not aware that the coming days were filled with joy and pleasure for him.

A knock at Takamine's door. Hana got it."It must be my son," she was excited. Kiyo was welcomed by his mother's warm hug."Long time to see you, honey." She said happily. Kiyo was satisfied to see her delighted. And just simply said-"Hey mom!"

He walked inside, took off his jacket and slung it o'er the chair.

"Now, you have really grown into a man, son." said Seitaro.

"Dad!" He did nothing but stammered.

They had planned to visit the research centre. Both of them soon set out.

Kiyo found the research centre quiet boring so he asked his dad to visit a park and he agreed. They both were strolling in the park when his dad posed a sudden question to him.

"Do you have any girlfriend?"

"W-What?"

"Don't stammer,I'm being serious, you are 20 now."

The very picture that flashed in his mind was of Megumi. He couldn't hide his forming blush. The moment of which he thought in his dreams. He's eyes closed, tender lips pressing against his, fingers stroking his hair, his hands placed on soft cheeks and his fingers rubbing against delicate earlobes. That feeling, that scent........

"Kiyo!" His dad called out.

"Ah!" He was snapped back to reality.

"You were day dreaming, that means you have one." He chuckled.

"Well"....he continued-"she's practically not my girlfriend, but we were allies. I haven't met her since years."

"You are talking about the pop-star Megumi?"

Kiyo was surprised that he figured it out but that was simple as his mother seems to like Megumi a lot she had told him about that.

"Dad, I feel she's here." He said in a low voice and sighed in hesitation.

"It could be so. Listen to your heart" His father suggested.

He nodes to him and looks towards a different direction. A shiver went down his spine. All of a sudden a limo caught his sight. There was a girl at the back seat. Her chocolate brown hair and ivory skin made his heart bumpy.

Why did I feel that way?Kiyo thought to himself.

"Dad, I think that girl was Megumi."

"Which girl?"

"You have not seen her, go back home; I'm going to follow her." He ran away.

"Good luck with that!" Yelled Seitaro.

He hurried up to the parking lot, got his motorbike. Put the key, start it, press the clutch, accelerate, set to neutral, put the gear, and GO!!!

I can't believe it!He thought. A smile animated his face. My heart is saying she's Megumi. I need to ensure, I have to ensure whether she is Megumi or not.He speed was exceeding hundred. Soon, the clouds started to blast. The rain poured heavily.

"Uh oh, this rain has blast up only now. Well, I don't care."

He was getting soaked but he didn't care. The rain became worse by each moment, but wasn't enough to fight against his love for Megumi. I'll get you.He was determined.

The limo stopped by a shopping mall. And the girl stepped out, holding an umbrella. She wore a British hat and purple glasses.

Is she Megumi? Does she have a concert here or she is spending holidays just like me?These all thoughts rushing through his head.

He followed her into the mall like a shadow, but didn't call her name aloud. She had her back towards him. Her manager was also there.

Every sign, her way of walking, her long loose hair, the style of disguise was making Kiyo even eagerer. His heart was thirsty.

I want a glimpse of her face, just once.He was praying-Please god! I wish she's Megumi.

He had his back towards a huge mirror, there were plenty of them fixed in the mall but didn't even notice, who knows fate is for or against him?

The golden moment came and she turned around. "Uh oh!" Kiyo turned his back towards her as he didn't want her to notice him because if she was revealed not to be Megumi then it would be embarrassing.

He had his eyes shut tight as footsteps came towards him. He took a deep breath and opened his eyes. He was surprised to find himself in-front of a mirror and the very girl was........
