Ice Princess


I gaped in horror to see the cold corpse drop in front of me. Tears ran down my face as I shook her. "Mommy? Mommy? MOMMY!" I screamed and the scenery began to blur. I was in school.

"Did you see that?"

"Yeah! I heard what she did!"




People kept chanting around me and my eyes began to well in tears. "I-I didn't do it! I didn't mean anything wrong!" But the chanting kept growing.

Another scenery began to materialize in front of me. A figure stabbed a knife into my flesh and raked it across my back, a deep gash appearing. I screamed in agony and white filled my vision. My terrified eyes saw a woman on the ground. "You deserve to die." she said as her eyes became glassy.

I jolted from my bed and hit the hard floor, screaming. As I desperately pulled a chord, my lamp came on and I sighed with relief, realizing I was in my room.

"Soujirou-sama?" A voice came from the other side of the door. Recognizing the voice, I immediately replied.

"I'm fine, Maria. It was simply a nightmare. And no, Maria it is not Soujirou-sama. It is merely Sana."

"Alright then. I will leave you to your sleep. It is your first day tomorrow, remember. Sana-sana." Her voice sounded doubtful as she walked away.

I climbed onto the bed, running my hand through my hair and touching my ice blue left eye. I check the clock. 1:12am. I sighed and sat back in my pillows then decided to take a shower. I knew I wouldn't be getting any more sleep tonight.
