Double-Cross

By Nikolean Q

Romance / Action

Prologue

There was a boy who transcended all. A psychological genius, who could read your mind and who could also play your heart. He was a benevolent soul, one who won the Liar Game- who was the top participant. He was only of 10 years old. He was kind and one who was full of smiles- seeming naive even, but was unmatched in the strength of the game. But as soon as he won the game, he disappeared. The existence of Seiko disappeared, along with the stopped filming 18 years ago.

Hayashi Riho is a normal investigator with just one abnormality. Her photographic memory. Her memory and personality earned her a place as one of the top investigators in the Osaka region. But there's one thing the others don't know. She suffers from an abnormal case of MPD. It's not the disorder itself that is odd, it is the times when she has her split personality.
So then what happens when this girl receives an invitation to the Liar Game? Will she meet Akiyama and Nao? And what exactly causes her split personality?

taosgw74: If this is the authors first attempt at writing, I'm floored. I was engrossed in the plot from the get go.

ga1984: I really enjoyed it! Characters were deep and plot was pretty complex. A bit on the violent side but it doesnt detract from the story. Very dark but situations make sense. Ends kinda abruptly and later chapters will need some editing work. I'm assuming there's more in the works?

RodRaglin: Sounds like an interesting story, LesAnne. Here are some things you might want to consider when you revise this draft."Show don't tell." You've probably hear this before and wondered what's the difference? Well, the difference is as a writer you're telling your reader what's happening rather than ...

sunshinebennybear: First, I would like to address the elephant in the room. The author forgets her own character's names. She mixed up Liam for Jace, Harri for Maiya, and Freya for Clary. I love The Mortal Instruments as much as the next fangirl, but I find myself unforgiving about this. Throughout the story there ...
