No one can save you in space.

Horror / Scifi
Age Rating:

Space. Nothing but endless wonders. A bottomless void with nothing to pull you down.

Isolation. Alone. Separated by other life. No contact. Missed connections.

Alien. Foreign. Brutal. Hostile.

Death. Endless sleep. No longer existing. So much death...

My eyes slowly flutter open after two beeps from my room’s intercom wakes me from a light sleep. I press the button on the wall by my desk to quickly end it so nothing else can stir from its sleep. A pleasant voice follows after the beeps on the intercom, but I know it’s starting to get corrupted from all the times I keep playing it over and over. It’s the only thing keeping me from going insane...

“Good morning, Gridlock! I hope you have a good day and promise me you won’t get stressed out. Love you, miss you, and can’t wait for you to come home!”

“I miss you so much...” I mumble with my head still resting on my arm at my desk. I lift my head up just so I can regain feeling in my arm, and I look at the photograph that I had in my hand. The photograph of the most beautiful girl in the world...

Stranded in a space ship somewhere in the middle of space. I’m not alone... I’ve been boarded up in my room for who knows how long with all the crawl spaces blocked as well. Nothing going in or out. I’m going to have to leave this room eventually for food and supplies or trying to contact someone. I have to go out there with that thing that killed all the crew except me...

Somehow, I’m still alive and I might be the only survivor. I managed to outsmart this creature, but I doubt I will be able to do it forever. It’s either be killed or find my way off this spaceship.
