Code Raka

"Steve!" The famous Avenger known as "Captain America" opened his right eye slowly at the call of his name. He looked at the digital alarm clock on the nightstand which was the only thing illuminating in dark showing four red digits equally divided by a ratio.

04:53 A.M...

A frustrated groan more like a grunt escaped his lips as he reached out for the lamp switch right besides his alarm clock on the nightstand. His hands wander on the hard cold wooden surface, knocking the alarm clock and the spare water bottle out of his way. Steve kicked the blanket off in frustration, grabbing his shield from beside his bed. His naked feet padded over the cold tile floor making sticky sound. Something seemed suspicious at the rapid knocking at his bedroom door.

"Steve!"

Knock, Knock! More like Bang! Bang!

"Come on, Steve! Open the damn door." The red head Avenger constantly knocked and called out for the super soldier. Steve quickly opened the door. "What's wrong, Natasha?"

"Code Raka!" Natasha said with a worried face.

Steve turned on his heels smartly, shutting the door on Natasha's face, he put the shield back on its place and made his way to his bed. Steve rolled his eyes before he shut them again. He smirked and made a relieved sigh. He knew she never dare to enter his room without his permission. Steve started to fall asleep again.

But she is BLACK WIDOW. No one closes the door on her face. Her Russian Face.

Steve felt his covers get ripped off of him, making the chill air of the room attack him. "No! Natasha please not now."He said as he put his face deeper into his soft pillow. He made a mental note to himself that sometimes Natasha act like an immature six year old girl. "Come on, Nat. It's just Code Raka. You can handle it by yourself." There was pin drop silence in Steve's room. Making Steve wonder where did the Ex- KGB agent went if she entered his room.

Steve yelped when a cold liquid got dropped down his shirt. He shot up from his bed and wriggling and twisting his body from side to side to get the cold object out from under his shirt. But soon he realized that it was water. He looked over to Natasha who was throwing a look at his direction, a half empty bottle in her hand. If looks could kill Steve would be dead by now. He couldn't help but glare at her, his frustration at her boiling up "What?" Steve said

"Hello, sleeping beauty." Natasha said with a cold tone. She threw the half empty bottle on the floor let's not forget it was also un-capped. "Come on, get going!"

"For what?" Steve asked covering yawn from the back of his hand. "Code Raka!" Natasha look disappointed for Steve forgetting the 'Code Raka'.

"Steve, it was our mutual decision. We need to take action or else."

"Else?" Steve asked with a bored tone.

"You know what will happen when Anya gets mad. If we don't take any action on Code Raka. All hell will break loose. Now, it's time to man up and let's do our jobs. I am so excited." Natasha said with a huge grin plastered to her face as she clapped her hands in excitement making Steve sigh heavily. "Okay! Let me just change first." Steve said "Then Code Chaka."

"Raka!" Natasha snapped at Steve as she walked out of his room.

Steve changed into a pair of black jeans and a grey sweater. He grabbed his Harley-Davidson Street 750 keys and made his way out of his room. Steve walked out of Avenger facility where already all the Avengers were out with sleepy eyes just like Steve. Except Wanda, Natasha and Vision. Sam was standing in a T-shirt and a pair of green shorts. "You can at least dress up." Steve said. "It's five in the morning, Steve." Sam defended himself "Okay! guys." Steve yawned. "Avengers Assemble." Steve said as Sam fall back on the green grass and said to Natasha "I am dying please let me sleep. We've been taking care of that Raka for a whole week. Now, he escaped. C'mon! Why don't you just take care it by yourself?"

"Come on, Sam! Get up." Steve said in his sleepy voice. "Avengers! I am saying it again. Assemble!" Sam got up from the grass and stood straight in front of Steve. At least he tried. Poor Falcon couldn't stand up on his own feet. So, he rested his body against the war machine's cold armor. "Sam and Rhodes you go south. Wanda and Vision you go north and Me and Natasha will take care of east and west." Steve ordered and everyone obeyed. Falcon and Rhodes flee into the air and so as Vision and Wanda. "Mind if I drive?" Natasha asked looking at Steve's drowsy state and Steve threw the keys at her way. Which she caught gladly. Steve and Natasha drove off towards the East.

Natasha was driving motorcycle through New York. She had gotten some sort of track on Raka at an abandon courtyard. Steve looked at his watch to see the time

05:36 A.M...

He realized sun would be up in less than an hour. He tried to shake himself from his sleepy thoughts, but somehow they wouldn't leave.

He hadn't been able to get it out of his head for several days now. His stomach had turned and he had finally realized that he will go to sleep early this time. But how could he? He had to train new agents and trainees. On the other hand, A warm bed with a warm blanket.

'Stop it!' He thought to himself. 'You're not that type of guy. Man up, Steve.'

He looked at his watch again, biting his lip. The courthouse was on the other side of town, but if Natasha would hurry, he could still make it to his bed before 7. "Hurry up, Nat!" Steve cried out before Natasha hitting the gas and sprinting away, hoping she wouldn't be too late. When they had reached the courthouse, they both jumped off Steve's motorcycle, not even taking the time to lock it, Steve ran into the large building, sprinting through the halls to find the room where Natasha told he could find Raka. Steve had enough. He was exhausted from his sleepy state. Natahsa was nowhere to be found. Steve cursed softly, grabbing his shield tightly and pushing himself out of hiding.

He pushed himself out, checking his surroundings frantically. Finally, his eyes saw him. "Raka!" Steve screamed before running after him. "Natasha, I found Raka." Steve took a sharp corner from the dark hallway "You'd better surrender now, Raka." It echoed through the hallway. "I will show you no mercy. Come out now!" But he only heard the voice of Raka when he is annoyed. "Oh, sorry! I didn't want to be rude. Here Raka. Come to Steve." Steve said. He saw Raka running away. "You're dead you little monster." Steve said running into a room. Steve was about to capture Raka in his grip but... "Wait!" Natasha's voice distracted Steve. She walked inside, finding nothing but empty chairs. Few chairs were stacked on one another in the corner of large room. "He is running away! Don't let him!" Natasha said as Raka escaped from an open window. Steve followed him but Raka faded into Dark. Natasha lost the track of him now.

"Back to facility." Steve said to others through his ear piece.

"About damn time, Cap'n!" Sam said and "OK, Captain!" came from Vision in Steve's ear piece.

"I can't believe it. We're doing this." Steve sighed, taking a seat in one of the chairs that were still standing. He took his head in his hands and rubbed his eyes. "You know how hard it is to find Raka. Damn it, Nat! I am a bloody superhero and I lost him again."

"We will find him. You're the best soldier in history." Natasha said.

"I can't believe I'm using my "superpowers" to help you find a lost cat." Steve air-quoted the word 'superpowers'.

YEP! Raka is cat of the youngest and new Recruit. Anya, who is just fourteen. But she was mentally older than her age. So, Natasha decided to keep Anya under her shadow. Anya was sick. Very Sick. Let's just say when Natasha trains. There is no mercy. So, Natasha send her to the facility hospital but she told Natasha & Steve to take care of her black cat named "Raka".

"Code Raka" was named for the situation when that cat escapes from facility and he found today to escape the facility. Today Anya is discharging and coming back and if she doesn't find her cat, Raka. All hell will break loose.

"I hope Fury help us out from this situation when things go south."Natasha said. Steve nodded, cursing himself for being so lazy person. For letting Raka ran away while Raka should have been here right next to him and Natasha. But most of all, for not taking care of the thing Anya value most, Raka. If he stay awake and take care of Raka. If he had, then maybe everything would have been different.

"Let's go! Steve." Natasha said as she put an apologetic hand around Steve's shoulder. Steve and Natasha sat there for a good one hour before Steve made his way back out of the courthouse with Natasha, taking in a deep breath. Luckily, his motorcycle was still standing where they had left it. He jumped on and checked his phone, finding several missed calls from Fury and Anya, but he didn't feel like talking to either of them. He drove off back to the facility.

07:14 A.M...

Steve parked his motorcycle outside the facility and made his way inside leaving Natasha alone. Going through a war in his mind whether to tell the little girl he lost her cat or not... As he made his way up to Anya's room. Where he was about to tell Anya that the cat her mom gave her before dying was lost. Yep! Anya was an orphan. Her single mother died and being an agent of SHIELD, Nick Fury recruited Anya. But literally if the Thor was God of Thunder. That kid was Goddess of Sass and cousin of Satan.

Steve saw something black. A black small figure with fur. In the middle of empty hallway. It's green eyes glowed. Steve couldn't help but to dive onto it. Almost crushing the fur ball under him. "Gotcha!" Steve smirked proudly, he grabbed Raka in his hands carefully and roll over to his back and that's when Anya opened her bedroom door. She saw Steve laying on floor with the cat in his hands.

"Raka!" Anya exclaimed in pure happiness as she grabbed the cat from Steve's hand. "Oh! Raka I was looking all over for you. No one told me where were you." Anya said as she walked back into her room without saying 'Thank you' to Steve. Steve stood up to follow her but she closed the door on Steve's face. 'That's how Natasha felt when I did this' Steve thought to himself and decided to apologize to Natasha for his behavior with her earlier. "You're welcome, Anya." Steve said to the closed door making his way out of the hallway. Little did Steve know that there was a certain Slovakian girl standing at the other end of the hallway hiding and smiling at how she helped Steve and Anya both. She saw Raka in the middle of the street about to run over by a car and she saved him. She took Raka here. When she was entering the facility she saw Steve with a sad face. That's when she decided to let Steve take all the credit of her hard work. Of course, my dear reader, she was WANDA MAXIMOFF.
