Chapter 1

~~~Play Through~~~
“And I’ll see all you dudes” I paused “In the NEXT VIDIOOO” I paused then turned off my recording equipment. Sighing, I leaned back on my chair with a smile. Happy wheels always had that effect on me.  Still smiling I got up and left the room, wondering what I should do now. My tummy rumbled. Food it is then.
I glanced at the clock before opening the fridge and groaned.
“Great! No food! Hmm…. Maybe I should call Mark instead” As I pondered on what I should do my computer went off. “Or someone could call me” I chuckled when I saw that it was indeed Mark calling me on skype.  I clicked accept.
“Hey buddy, what’s up?” The raven haired man smiled.
“Nothin much I-“Mark was cut off by a knock at the door. I glanced at it in confusion.
“Hold up, I’ll be right back” Mark nodded, also confused. I don’t normally get people visiting me.  Shaking my head I made my way to the door. I stood shocked at who was on the other side. It was an old man that I have never seen before. He had a long white beard though. “Um, hi?” The man smiled.
“Yes, hello indeed” And with that he just walked in! I followed him completely shocked.
“Um, who the hell are you?” I demanded as he walked into my recording room and looked around curiously. Marks face showed on of confusion as he gestured to the man. I shrugged my shoulders.
“Oh, where are my manners, my name is Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore. Just call me Albus” he smiled at me. I just stood there with my arms crossed and an annoyed look on my face.
“Ok, Albus… why are here?” The old man’s face fell and I felt a little bad, but hey, he walked in without a single word!
“I’m here to ask for you and your friends help here” He then turned around and gestured to Mark, who was watching the exchange. We both gave him a confused look.
“Um…. Why? And how can I help? I’m on the other side of the world!” I nodded in agreement. Albus smiled and I could have sworn I saw something flicker in his eyes…
“I’m a wizard” Albus bluntly stated, still smiling. There was a moment of silence before Mark and I burst into laughter. I had to hold my sofa to stay up right. Mark on the other hand, fell of his.
“Yeah, right” I looked over at my computer, seeing that Mark was now back in his chair, his face red from laughing. “If you’re a wizard then pr-” Suddenly mark was sitting on my sofa I yelped and jumped back. “ove it…..” The American looked around, his eyes growing wide. “WHAT THE!” He jumped up and slowly walked back to me, looking between me and the old man. I was too shocked and a bit scared to say anything. Albus must have seen my fear because he just smiled at me.
“It’s nothing to be concerned about, all I ask is for your help” Mark looked at me expectantly. I shook my head and gave Mark a surprised look.
“Why are you looking at me for?” Mark chuckled, despite the situation.
“Well, the guy did turn up at your door, not mine” I gaped at him with my mouth open, but didn’t say anything. He does have a point. I rubbed my face and sighed.
“Why? Why us?” Mark and I looked at the old man, who just sighed.
“I wish I could tell you, but alt last I’m not the one with the answer” His cryptic reply left Mark and I more confused, but by the look on his face… something told me not to ask again. Mark coughed.
“Ok… Can you tell us what we need to do then?” I nodded my agreement. Albus’s face instantly changed to one of pure seriousness. I gulped, even if I just met the guy, he does not seem like the kind to be serious often.
“It is too my knowledge that you and your friend here” he gestured to Mark “are the only people who can help me protect my students” I glanced at Mark. He had a thoughtful look on his face.
“Students?” Albus chuckled at him.
“Yes, Students. You see, I’m the headmaster of Hogwarts: witch craft and wizardry” I grabbed the sofa again and Mark sat (more like fell) onto the coach as well.
“So, you’re saying that we” I gestured to Mark and I “Are ment to help you with wizard kids?!?” Albus just chuckled.
“Not all of them, I am only asking you to help look after one” Mark visibly relaxed. Me on the other hand, I still kept my defences up.
“And who is that?” I asked. The old man smiled a fond smile.
“His name is Harry Potter. He’ll be starting his year and so will you” I blinked.
“Um… how? We can’t teach there, we don’t know magic!” Mark exclaimed jumping off the sofa. Albus laughed, causing Mark and I to jump back.
“I said nothing about teaching magic, oh no, you’re going to be in young Harry’s class of course!”  This time I sat down on the sofa, Mark just shrugged, probably used to old man’s surprises.
“Yeah, of course!” I replied sarcastically. “And how do you expect that to happen? If you haven’t noticed were full grown men, how old is this harry?” The old man didn’t seem fazed by my rambling. Mark seem to be enjoying the interaction.
“He is 11 in 3 weeks” I placed my face in my hands. I felt a hand on my back, probably Mark.
“So, your gonna bibbity bobbity boo us then?” The Americans voice asked with a nervous laugh. I raised my head in curiosity of the old man’s answer.
“Something like that” Albus then pulled out 2 vials with glowing liquid. One was a bright green while the other was a bright pink. I snorted.
“Of course they are those colours” Mark laughed
“Oh yeah” His face suddenly changed to one of concern.
“You ok there buddy?” Mark ignored me and faced the old man.
“If Jack and I agree to this… what happens to our channels? If you know about us you know we can’t leave it for a year!” Realisation hit me like a brick.
“Oh, don’t worry, I have some people ready to take over, although it won’t be the same, people won’t notice that your gone” He reassured. I still didn’t like the idea of leaving my channel for a year, but if Marks eyes were anything to go on by (which was full of excitement), then it looks like we were going to. I sighed and held out my hand. Mark copied me. Albus handed them to us.
“Down the hatch I suppose” Mark nervously chuckled after facing me. I chuckled nervously back.
“Together?”
“Together” And with that we both drank the liquid in one go.
“Hey, mine tastes like cookies!” Mark laughed at my childless.
“Mine tastes like candyfloss” He smiled before his face changed to one of discomfort. I was about to ask what was wrong until a strange feeling came over me. It was kinda warm but it was getting hotter.
“What’s going on?” Mark shrugged before doubling over, it wasn’t long before I did too. The heat had just doubled tenfold! It felt as if someone just placed me in a boiling pot. I had to close my eyes in pain, tears sprinkling my eyes. It just kept getting worse before I felt something different. It felt like I was getting smaller? I could feel my cloths getting bigger as my hat fell over my closed eyes.  After a while, the pain started to disappear.
“Ok, that hurt” I mumbled with a think Irish accent… one I didn’t have since I was a kid… I heard a  chuckle from my left. I glanced up, my eyes widening. There stood another boy around 11 with a lot of curly black hair and big round brown eyes, eyes that just widened.
“Jack?” The boy asked in a squeaky voice. I couldn’t help but laughed at Mark.
“Oh, my god! You’re adorable!” The boy blushed in embarrassment before giving me a shove. I yelped as I fell over on my oversized cloths. “Hey!”
“At least people can understand me!” I blushed this time in response.
“Ahh, it looks like it worked” Both Mark’s and I attention were brought back to Albus’s presence. I hate to admit it, but I forgot he was there…
“So, what did you do exactly? I still feel the same?” Mark questioned as he waved his small hands in the large shirt. I chuckled at him. The old man did as well before he pulled a stick out of his long bath robe (How did I not notice that before?) and waved it. Suddenly Mark was wearing one of his black shirts with a red M and black shorts. I looked down and saw that I was sporting a green Sam shirt and blue denim jeans. My hat was now smaller. We mumbled thanks. Albus smiled
“That potion I gave you was a de-aging potion, very rare, but it will last the year you’re staying with us” I stood up and nodded.
“So, what now?” I asked, trying to keep my accent down. It kinda helped but not much.
“Now we go to meet up with Hagrid” He headed towards my fireplace for some reason.  I gave Mark a confused look; he returned it with a shrug. I face the old man.
“Hagrid?”
Warchief: The biggest problem with the Harry Potter series is that it's all from his point of view. So we never really get to see or understand events from other peoples perspective. I think that they would be more than a few people that want to know what happened at Hogwarts during that last year.As far a...
taosgw74: If this is the authors first attempt at writing, I'm floored. I was engrossed in the plot from the get go.
RiverSong: So, at first glance, I thought this was just going to be like any other werewolf book out there that you could find on Wattpad, but I was intrigued enough with the little bloop that I wanted to read more. Following that weird thing that I call curiosity, I found this thing called an obsession. Th...
Alex Reltin: This is a great story! I love how well you go into detail and emotions of Capri, and Mel. You have amazing dialogue and overall it's just a thrill to read!The only critique I could find is that some of the paragraphs should be separated. Raymond Keith Moon: Great story arc. Nice command of the balance of overview and detail. Feels a bit like a multi-player computer game, but provides satisfying explanations for all the apparent magic. Please keep writing!
Darren Powell: Very nice read. Lots of surprising treats from: Schrodinger’s cat and dervish dance forms; to sensei masters and brownian motion. I wasn't expecting this, so it was a pleasant discovery.Also liked the 'cross-over' events connecting one character's/or group's journey to another. I like how that wa...
