Jungkook was dozing off during Ms. Choi’s lecture about ancient literature forms, his doe eyes drooping and a subtle sleepy pout forming on his lips, when the shuffling and buzz suddenly forming around him shook him awake.

He squinted his eyes open, adjusting them to find out as to why such a commotion was being caused. When he realized however, that the class has been dismissed and the commotion was caused by students filling out of the room, he stood right up, causing the book on his lap to fall with a thud.

He groaned groggily, sleep still evident in his eyes, but, nevertheless, picked up the book, trailing behind the mass of students to leave.

When he finally pushed past his batch-mates, he ran straight towards the library, as this was his last lecture for the day and he had someone to meet up with.

His footsteps echoed through the unoccupied library, as his cherished redhead raised himself from his desk, looking up to meet Jungkook in the eye.

Smiles were exchanged, and Jungkook heart elated at the sight of the rectangular-shaped mouth of the older, walking up to him, all the while trying to minimize the rush of blood to his face.

“Hey,” Taehyung said, seeing the hesitance in Jungkook’s movements, trying to ease the younger. He even ushered the boy to come closer to his desk, so he could see the younger’s face better.

“H-Hi,” Jungkook whispered out, face glowering and feet slowly moving towards where Taehyung pointed him to.

Taehyung leaned his head against his hand under his chin, his eyes boring into Jungkook’s through his glasses, as he asked, “So, Jungkook. Do you wanna study here? Or, we could meet up at Starbuck’s after an hour to go through your study materials.”

Jungkook kept staring at the older man’s face, mind travelling back to the first time he ever saw the guy. Taehyung was one beautiful human, indeed. However, his thoughts were interrupted when said Taehyung started waving his hands in front of Jungkook’s eyes in confusion.

“Huh?” Jungkook resurfaced, a blush now very evident since he realized that Taehyung was practically staring at him daydreaming.

“I said, do you wanna study here or at Starbuck’s?” Taehyung asked again, internally cooing at the sight of Jungkook’s gradually reddening face.

“Starbuck’s, please,” Jungkook said, allowing himself to smile a bit before widening his eyes, saying, “Only if you think it’s not a bother, though, Sir.”

Taehyung laughed, “I wouldn’t have suggested it if I had a problem. So, I’ll see you at Starbuck’s after an hour? Which is,” Taehyung paused to take a glance at the clock, before saying, “Exactly at 4:30 pm, yeah?”

Jungkook smiled, his bunny teeth showing, saying, “Yeah.” And, with that, he bowed, leaving the library to allow Taehyung to gather up his things and close the library for the day.

To say that Jungkook was nervous, would be an understatement. For some odd reason, he kept considering his meet-up with Taehyung as a date, and his insides basically churned up in excitement every time he thought that.

But, a little bit of guilt also simmered in his heart, knowing that it would be very inappropriate to mistake the mere kindness of Taehyung to be something else, when Jungkook should remain grateful that the older didn’t report him to the university authority.

Jungkook felt relieved and also a bit of hopeful, considering the fact that the librarian was so casually giving him literature lessons, helping him improve, whereas Jungkook was practically giving off stalker vibes from the start. But, he decided to ignore the bubble of hope in his heart as the influence of Jimin’s words.

Jungkook had no idea, why he was sitting at a lonely table at the local Starbuck’s, 10 minutes early to said meet-up, and thinking about these stuffs. He should just be glad that Taehyung isn’t disgusted or revolted by him.

And, in that moment, just to stop Jungkook’s thoughts to go anywhere else, Taehyung appeared, two cups of drinks in his hands.

He handed Jungkook the iced latte, keeping the espresso for himself, as he sighed out, “Thank goodness you didn’t order anything. I figured you might be early, so I got us drinks as a compensation for the wait. This was what you ordered last time, isn’t it, Jungkook?”

Jungkook could feel his heart swell. He remembers, Jungkook thought, smiling and answering, “Yeah. Thank you, Sir, although I didn’t wait for quite long.”

Taehyung felt his heart warm up to Jungkook’s smile, and the way he sipped on his latte, and said, “Still. And, you can call me Taehyung outside university, Jungkook.”

And, Jungkook was blown away once again by the fact that Taehyung looked damn amazing in casuals, and with that smile dangling off his lips, Jungkook knew that his face was already red, when he said, “All right, Taehyung.”

And, Taehyung had to bite his lips to stop the coo from coming out. And, he realized that Jungkook being cute and blushing while saying his name was going to be the end of him. And, just maybe, he wanted to hear the younger calling him by his name more often.

So, through countless times of Jungkook blushing, and innumerable times of Taehyung accidentally having a meltdown due to Jungkook’s cuteness, the two of them skimmed through pages of English art of literature, with heart eyes and soft minds.
