SKIPPING BEATS.

It’s been a few weeks since Jungkook started to send Taehyung those cute little notes. Two months, to be exact. And, the boy was pretty sure it was leaving an impact on the older.

Well, he wasn’t wrong. Taehyung enjoyed this twitter inbox thing a lot. He was so bubbly about receiving these notes, that he actually wanted to interact with his anonymous admirer.

So, at lunch break, when no student was lurking inside the library, Taehyung set to work.

He took a piece of yellow paper, and cut it square. Then, following a certain admirer, he wrote,

hi! this is your twitter reply bot. it received your messages, and is more than glad to have you around, anonymous admirer. it hopes for this to continue, as it makes it’s tiny beeping heart flutter. keep up the cute stuff!

Taehyung stared at the piece of paper, wondering if it was worth a try. I mean, who knows? Life is full of endless possibilities. And, Taehyung is the type to go look for more.

So, when the students were filing in one by one, and the library was almost half full, Taehyung was a bit disappointed. He couldn’t shortlist among such an amount of students.

He subtly pouted, eyes on his book, but not reading. His mind was focused on somewhere else, when, he was suddenly pulled out of his trance. By an adorably loud giggle.

The usual silence of the library was lost, as all the students, including the librarian, stared at the source of the laughter.

They were two boys, one of them blushing deep. Taehyung assumed him to be the one giggling. The other one seemed not even slightly embarrassed.

The flushed guy who was, quite indeed flustered, stood up, and tried not to laugh again, his bunny teeth peaking behind a pair of thin lips. He turned to everyone, and said, β€œI’m so sorry.” Then, he pulled the guy beside him up, and left the table.

He stopped right in front of Taehyung’s desk, staring at him, then bowing, β€œI’m really sorry, Sir.”

The boy seemed familiar, but Taehyung sees a lot of students everyday, so he shrugged it off. But, what caught his attention was the word β€˜sir’ - it reminded him of a certain admirer.

He smiled back at the guy before he left, before muttering an β€˜it’s okay’, and looked soon enough to catch a blush.

Cute, Taehyung thought, as he resumed on mindlessly handling his book, his mind on his cute admirer.

Disappointingly, for Taehyung, he did not find any cute bluebird paper lying on his desk that day. Neither was his yellow note given any attention.

He sighed, fixing his stuff, and locking the yellow note in his desk drawer.

Maybe, they’ll come tomorrow, Taehyung thought, leaving the library.
