Introductions
BEFORE YOU GET INTO THE STORY just to not confuse anyone, I’m going to introduce each character and give a brief description on them. As the story continues to grow, more characters will be added to this section.
DJ, 15- De’Asia, female protagonist in the story. Sensitive teen DJ (alter ego name, similar to Miley Stewart as Hannah Montana) has been through a lot, since her mother’s sudden death in 2009, dealing with so many things that had brought her close to death on more than one occasion. Despite what she’s been through, she pushes through her struggles with the help of her talent, love, compassion, and surprises.
Played by Author (because again, I was 12😭)
Bigi, 16- Prince Michael Jackson II, male protagonist in the story. Bigi is the protective boyfriend of DJ, and he cares so deeply about her. He’s quite sensitive himself, and has emotional issues that he’s learned to keep under control thanks to martial arts. He gives the impression that he’s egotistic, but he’s loved by all. He has his own problems that he chooses to keep secret, but sometimes they do affect his behavior.
Michael, 35 (yes I’m aware of how inaccurate the ages are and how he’s basically a teen dad, it’s a fanfic and this is my fav MJ era, chill)- Michael Jackson, the King of Pop. Loving fiance, father of 3 children, and his son’s girlfriend. Best friend of DJ’s mom, hence the strong love he has for her as if she were his child. Is literally a child at heart, though will become the strict ruler of the house in an instant. Peacemaker and emotional support character.
Prince, 21- Michael Jackson Jr. is Michael’s oldest child. He’s a combination of the douchebag older brother (he gets a kick out of teasing DJ and Bigi when he’s excited), the best friend type of older brother, and the goofball of the house. In the end, family, his dogs, and his motorcycle are everything to him. Expect anything from him.
Paris, 20- Paris Jackson is Michael’s oldest and only daughter. She’s a queer Daddy’s Girl™, one of DJ’s best friends, and a pot head who, like Prince, is a loving sister and values family over everything. You never know if you’ll see her glammed up side, or her “I want you to judge my appearance” side. Is extremely beautiful.
Sofia, 32- Sofia Jade is Michael’s fiancee, Bigi’s surrogate mom (DJ and Bigi are unaware) and DJ’s former therapist (from after her mother’s death). She’s full of life and understands her role as a Stepmom, not as a replacement to the older kids’ mother. Trusted by DJ, adored by Prince and Paris (who’ve started calling her “Mom”), but is slightly resented by Bigi because she “babies” him.
