A Ghoul's Rabbit Habits

Touka's Rabbit Habit

I might not be able to see the future, like Fiver, nor am I a leader like Hazel-rah. I know I will never be the trickster that El-ahrairah is, nor am I similar to that flat headed thumping fool of a rabbit, Bigwig. In the end if I had to be a known character in Watership Down, I would be Holly. Touka decides. So Touka becomes like Holly and through him, like El-ahrairah, as all rabbits must in order to survive in a world with a thousand foes.

It’s only much later as Anteiku burns by man’s hand before her eyes that Touka believes that whatever Author is writing her fate meant for Holly to be the Only Character she could be. And as she stands less than a day latter before the burnt ruins of her home, does she remember what faith-lead journey Holly goes on from the destruction of the Sandford Warren to reach the Honeycomb Warren where the other rabbits were. So thus she waits; - for the rabbits who left to steal some does, - for her friends and family to return home from their journey away from home.

Marijana1: The melancholy present throughout this story has the power to influence and etch into the minds of the readers, to stay there and refuse to leave even after they have finished reading the story. Hudson: Your story was fantastic Erin! The Rising Sun was one of the first stories I read on Inkitt, and I have to say I don't regret the three to four days I spent pouring through the story.Probably the biggest strength I see in your writing is your characterisation of Eliana, Oriens, and the rest of th...

Mourn8220House: When first reading "Avarice," I thought it would be another fairytale but I was taken back the author's approach and choice of ending. There is little to be said for the story and overall plot besides the sudden twists and speculation, other than that I do not want to ruin a fantastic tale, you m...

nikmariecav: I loved reading this book! I was hooked from the moment I started reading. It took me a day to read the whole thing but I didn't want to stop reading. ArgyrisMetaxas: Thrilling story which builds layer ontop of layer. A few mis spellings every few chapters. What I found special was that it took a modern day problem and took it to its logical conclusion and plays this realism with gritting precision. I'm always on edge ready to shout from adrenaline. This is gr...

Judy Haun-Morelock: A very imaginative, compelling story that captivates and holds your attention. Just how will the new Joshua deal with all the changes in his life: his appearance, surroundings, new friends and enemies.

Arabella: The catchy blurb caught my attention. The story is creepy but I would not qualify it as a horror story. The characters are likeable and I’m impatiently waiting for new stories from Obsidian Fae.

ernbelle: When I first started this story I was a little unsettled by all of the information that appears in the prologue, and wasn't sure if I would continue. However, I am very glad I did.
