Chapter 1

Allie's POV:

It was the first day of year 9 and my younger sister was in year 7. I'm known as the popular girl in my year. My sister wears glasses and is a really talkative girl.

The day was going smoothly until about lunch time, when I was sitting with all the girls out on the oval on the lush green grass.

When all of a sudden my friend Sarah called out to me.

"Your little sisters getting picked on over there, you might wanna go see what's wrong." Sarah said.

"Yeah ill be back" I said I got up and started walking over to the her and the girls bullying her.

Just as I was coming upon them I saw one of the girls grab her glasses and throw them on the ground and step on them.

I couldn't let that pass I grabbed the girl and stood her away from my sister.

"I dare you have a free shot" I said pointing at me, she punched me and I felt my lip bleeding.

That's when I let loose and just punched her one after the other, then my favourite teacher Miss Stuart ran down the oval to pull us apart.

"Allie get off her" she yelled as she tried pulling me off of the girl.

"Fine!" I yelled.

"Where's your bag?" she asked trying to block me off from her.

"I don't know my friends hid it so no one would touch it." I said angry.

"Sarah where's Allie's bag?" Miss Sturt said, I just stared at her beauty starting to calm down.

"Back off the hall" Sarah replied.

"Right let's go get it" she said.

"Sis meet me at the office ill get someone to ring mum" I said to her as she headed off, then we went and got my bag and went to the office.

When we got there they sat me down.

"I need to ring mum sis needs new glasses" I said to the principal.

"Ill go ring her" Miss Sturt said as she walked away.

I am a budding writer myself and to read this- to FEEL this- reminded me of why I am honoured to have this passion and drive for a craft that is just so raw and beautiful.

M.L. Bull: Hello, Aalia!Your story compelled the emotional pain and struggle of a teenage girl very well.. The imagery was also convincing and well-written, showing the different personalities of your characters and their actions. Tanya Daigle Rusheon: This book is a long and twisty tale full of sweet romance, adorable fluff, anxiousness, trust issues, mind games, things that don't make sense until suddenly they do, heartache and reconciliation just when you need it the most. If that all sounds a bit vague, it's because I really don't want to s...

Sandra Estrada: I loved every minute of it and I thank my lucky stars that brought me to the story, it's been a whirlwind of emotions, plot twist after plot twist but I never got tired of them. LouiseJ2: I enjoyed the detail you went into with regards to the case. It made the UNSUB appear believable. The crisis in the middle of the story was my favorite part, very dramatic but not over the top.
