There I was, walking down the grand hallway of my father’s mansion. Tom Riddle, also known as Lord Voldemort was awaiting my presence since apparently, he has news for me. And yes, before you ask, he is in fact, my father.
His mansion was massive and mostly consisted of dark materials such as marble and stone. When I arrived at the large sitting room, I could see him sitting near the fire, reading.
“You called for me, Father?” I asked, shutting the door quietly.
“Ah yes, come in my dear,” He responded, motioning for me to come in front of him.
“I know you will be excited to hear that you will be attending Hogwarts starting tomorrow!”
My eyes widened. “W-what?” I asked, taking a step back out of pure shock. “But I don’t want to go there! I like it here, all by myself! Where I don’t have to worry about people finding out about me! Please, oh please don’t make me go!” I pleaded, tears forming in my eyes.
Father sighed. “You remember Lucius Malfoy, correct?” He asked.
“Barley, I only met him when I was two years old…” I muttered.
“Well, he was a son, Draco. He will be there. They both know you are coming to Hogwarts. You do not have a choice. This could finally be a turning point for the death eaters. Once you convince everyone there you are on their side, that’s when we come in. When we take over, everything will be better than it is now, Elizabeth!” My father exclaimed, standing up.
“Ok. I’ll go then,” I told him, beginning to walk out.
“Start packing right away! You leave tomorrow morning!” He ordered while I left the sitting room.
Later that evening, I decided to start packing. I pretty much packed every clothing item I had, as well as essentials such as my wand, my owl, as well my new robe and tie that were dropped off earlier. I put my suitcase down by the grand entrance and headed back upstairs.
The next morning, I awoke with the sunrise. I got ready and started drawing in my journal, waiting to be called down for breakfast. A little bit of time passed by, and I got tired of waiting. I decided to go on downstairs. To my surprise, no one was in the kitchen. I sighed and grabbed a green apple. Something is better than nothing I guess, I thought as I looked out the dreary windows.
I walked around the mansion for a while, examining the tiny details of my home. Before long, it was time for me to leave.
I ran upstairs to put on my shoes and did a glance around my room before leaving, just in case I had forgotten something.
I arrived down backstairs, only to be greeted by my father and two men in our sitting room.
The first one who noticed me must’ve been the other’s father since he looked much older. He had long platinum blonde hair and was quite tall. My father stood up.
“Elizabeth, this is Lucius Malfoy, and his son Draco,” Father informed me. The younger boy looked up. Draco. He looked about the same age as me and was very attractive. I could stare at him for a lifetime. Mr. Malfoy stood up to greet me.
“Good morning, I am pleased to tell you that we will be escorting you to Hogwarts,” He said, shaking my hand.
“Wonderful,” I replied, with a small smile on my face. Mr. Malfoy harshly tapped on his son’s shoulder, motioning for him to greet me as well. I could already see the mischief in his eyes when he walked up to me.
“So you’re the Dark Lord’s daughter?” Draco asked, shaking my hand.
“I guess so…” I smirked. I could tell we were going to be pretty good friends.
