𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧 𝐚𝐢𝐫 - 𝐭.𝐫

6:30am waking up to the cool air on my body, the smell of fresh roses from outside my window filling the room. I moved the airy white comforter from my warm arms and legs, and got ready for another day at Hogwarts. I brushed my teeth, did my morning self care routine and put on my Slytherin uniform. I grabbed my black Doc Martens and some white socks, brushed through my soft hair lightly, and decided to just leave my hair down today, kind of messy but still put together. It was now 7:24am. I went over to my chair that had my book bag on it and checked to see if I had everything I needed for the day. When I saw that I did, I was going to get ready to go. My best friend Maya rushed into my dorm.

"Y/N! Oh you're awake ha!" she said in a breathy voice. Meaning she ran all the way over to my dorm when she is in Hufflepuff.

"Yes I am awake!" I commented. I took a cold water bottle from my little mini fridge and handed it to her. We are the best of friends, known each other since we were 3. She took the bottle and drank it almost halfway done. "Gosh Maya we really need to start working out more."

She let out a laugh and agreed before we headed out the door.

We walked into the Great Hall and had to split ways because we are in different houses. I went to sit next to Astoria Greengrass because she is one of the few people I can actually trust.
We talked for a little bit. I wasn't that hungry for breakfast so I just had a piece of toast with butter. I know that sounds so bland but it was so good, oh my Merlin. I met up with Maya after breakfast and we walked to our first class together which was potions with Snape. I walked into the cold, dark, quiet classroom which soon filled with noisy teenagers. Snape quickly shushed the class and gave everyone a lecture for being too loud while entering the classroom. I barely even paid attention to anything he was saying because one particular dark haired boy caught my eye. I looked at him for a split second and looked back at Snape but still thinking of the boy.

After Snape's long speech about being quiet, he said, "Riddle how about you go sit next to Y/n today and see if you can help her with potions, besides Maya sitting next to her wasn't the best idea you two don't know when to shut it."

Riddle, hm. I have heard his name go around in the school before but never actually saw him walking around maybe a few glances but I never really noticed him amongst the crowd. Maya rolled her eyes and got up, gave me a little side hug and went over to the other table. Tom had no emotion on his face, just blank. Damn it was hard to read this guy. He sat down and didn't say anything, just looked at the front of the class while Snape wrote some things on the chalkboard. It was just silent the whole class and not the good relaxing kind it was pretty awkward I caught him staring at me. The short glances turned into long stares. Each time I catch him he turns away quickly.

Tom's pov
That girl was interesting, she was very beautiful, and intelligent. Obviously I wouldn't say these things to her face so I just thought them while looking at her. I know it sounds creepy but whatever. Oh Shit she just caught me. You know what Tom just paid attention to the lesson stop thinking about that silly girl, so called 'Y/n Sinclair' everyone would've gone crazy if you told anyone you hooked up with her. Stupid people.

After class walked out without saying another word. Riddle kind of scares me, I wonder what he was thinking about me and I am going to go missing or some shit. Anyway let's stop worrying about him, Maya waited for me outside the door and now was our break. That class was pretty long because they added another 30 minutes like what! She told me she was eyeing Cedric, Cedric Diggory. The Cedric that cheated on Cho just last week. I was worried but I was even more worried of how she would react if I told her about him and how he is a real dick.

I honestly didn't really feel like going to classes anymore. Potions really just drained me by adding another 30 minutes, Maya was perfectly fine so she went and made an excuse for me in every class because we have the same classes together. I just stayed in my dorm and painted some random art, and mostly read. I got out when it was time for lunch, after that I just did my homework in the library with my friend Hermione.
